HUBUNGAN ASKARIASIS DENGAN KADAR EOSINOFIL DI SDN 060923 KECAMATAN MEDAN AMPLAS TAHUN 2015
ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang. Anak usia sekolah dasar merupakan golongan paling rentan
terhadap cacingan, karena perilaku anak-anak yang kurang menjaga higienitas pribadi. Peningkatan eosinofil sering dikaitkan dengan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh cacing dan alergi. Eosinofilia merupakan penanda umum adanya infeksi cacing.
Tujuan. Mengetahui hubungan askariasis dengan kadar eosinofil pada siswa SDN
060923 Medan Amplas
Metode. Penelitian dengan design studi analitik menggunakan metode cross
sectional pada anak usia 8-11 tahun yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan sudah menandatangani inform consent. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Dilakukan pemeriksaan mikroskopis feses dan jumlah eosinofil darah. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Pearson chi square.
Hasil. Dari 28 subjek penelitian yang terinfeksi askariasis mengalami kenaikan
kadar eosinofil darah. Kadar eosinofil 27 subjek yang tidak terinfeksi cacing A. lumbricoides memiliki kadar eosinofil normal. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang erat antara kejadian askariasis dengan kadar eosinofil.
Kesimpulan. Kadar eosinofil darah siswa yang terinfeksi Askariasis berbeda
secara bermakna dengan siswa yang tidak terinfeksi Askariasis.

RELATIONS ASCARIASIS WITH THE LEVELS OF EOSINOPHILS IN THE SDN 060923 MEDAN AMPLAS by 2015
ABSTRACT
Background. Elementary school age children is the most susceptible to intestinal
worms, because the behavior of children who lack personal hygiene keep. An increase in eosinophils is often associated with diseases caused by worms and allergies. Eosinofilia is a general marker of the presence of the worm infection.
Objective. Relationship ascariasis with levels of eosinophils in students SDN
060923 Medan Amplas
Method. Research with design study using the method of cross sectional analytic
on children aged 8-11 years who meet the criteria for inclusion and has already signed the inform consent. The technique of sampling in this research are the total sampling. Microscopic examination of the stool is done and the amount of eosinophils in blood. Statistical analysis using Pearson chi square test.
Results. Of the 28 infected research subjects askariasis increase blood levels of
eosinophils. Levels of eosinophils 27 subject not infected with worms a. lumbricoides have normal levels of eosinophils. This shows that there is a close relationship between the incidence of askariasis with levels of eosinophils.
Conclusion. Levels of eosinophils blood infected with Ascariasis students
significantly different with students who are not infected with Ascariasis.
