Abstrak
Penelitian Karakteristik cendawan antagonis pengendali penyakit busuk daun Phytophtora colocasiae pada talas satoimo Colocasia esculenta (L.) var anti quorum telah dilakukan. Cendawan antagonis merupakan cendawan yang mampu menekan/menghambat pertumbuhan patogen. Kemampuan cendawan antagonis dalam menghambat pertumbuhan patogen ditandai dengan adanya kekampuan cendawan memproduksi metabolit sekunder berupa enzim. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik cendawan antagonis dalam mengendalikan penyakit busuk daun phytophtora colocasia terhadap talas satoimo Colocasia esculenta (L.) schott var anti quorum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Identifikasi pengamtan secara makroskopik dan mikroskopik. Uji aktivitas enzim chitinase dan selulase menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan cara mengamati adanya halo (zona bening). Hasil identifikasi cendawan antagonis diperoleh jenis isolat EP01 yaitu, Rhyzoctonia spp., FB01 yaitu Asperigillu ssp., FP01 yaitu Paecilomyces sp., FB04 yaitu Colectricum acutotum. Uji aktivitas enzim pada keempat isolate diperoleh bahwa semua isolate memiliki aktivitas enzim kitinase dan selulase.

Abstract
The Research about Characteristics of antagonist fungi controlling late blight disease Phytophtora colocasiae in satoimo taro Colocasiaesculenta (L.) var anti qourum have been conducted. Antagonist fungus is a fungus that can suppress or inhibit pathogen growth. The ability of antagonist fungus to inhibit pathogen growth is characterized by the ability of fungi to produce secondary metabolites in the form of enzymes. The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics of antagonistic fungi in controlling late blight disease Phytophtora colocasia against satoimo taro Colocasia esculenta (L.) schott var anti quorum. This research was conducted by using identification method with macroscopic and microscopic observation. The test of activity of chitinase and cellulase enzyme used a qualitative method by observing the halo (clear zone). The identification result of antagonistic fungi were obtained EP01 isolate namely Rhyzoctonia sp., FB01namely Asperigillus sp.,FP01 namely Paecilomyces sp., FP04 namely Colectricum acutotum. The enzyme activity test on the four isolates showed that all isolates had chitinase and cellulase enzyme activity.
