Self-Access Centre (SAC) is one of facilities that
provided by English Literature Program Study (ELSP). It
promotes the approach where students study
independently choosing from among different
resources that are available. SAC is as simple as a
classroom set aside with dictionaries and shelves books
or paper-based exercises that supported with computer

students with a structured environment outside of the
classroom to support independent initiatives of their
selves, and to further autonomous learning among the
students.

English Literature Study Program
ELSP students
ELSP students gain supports to improve their knowledge, skills,
and attitudes. The ultimate purpose is to improve both learning and
employability of the students. To ensure learning improvement, each
ELSP student has an academic adviser who is assigned to supervise,
advise, and gives suggestions to students in making decisions related to
academic and non-academic activities. Beside that, early beginning of the
first semester, students are facilitated to improve their learning skills
through a pogram called BALANCE (Basic Learning Skills Characters and
Creativity). This program is an improvement of Basic Study Skill (BSS)
started in 2004 and was changed in 2012 into BCSS (Basic Character Study
Program), reflecting the integration of character education.
