PERTANIAN

5.1. Pertanian Tanaman Pangan Produksi padi pada tahun 2009 mencapai 1.870.775 ton atau naik sebesar 6,86 persen dari tahun sebelumnya. Produksi padi selama 2 tahun terakhir mengalami peningkatan yang cukup tinggi. Produksi palawija pada tahun 2009 juga hamper semua mengalami peningkatan kecuali kacang hijau yang mencapai produksi sebesar 33.775 ton yang sebelumnya mencapai 39.756 ton.

Nusa Tenggara Barat merupakan daerah penghasil bawang merah yang cukup tinggi. Pada tahun 2009 produksi bawang merah mencapai 133.945 ton meningkat dari sebelumnya yang mencapai 68.748 ton. Peningkatan yang sangat tinggi terjadi di Kabupaten Bima. Banyak jenis sayuran dan buah-buahan yang dihasilkan di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Buah yang cukup banyak dihasilkan di NTB adalah buah mangga.

5.2. Perkebunan

Perkebunan rakyat di Provinsi NTB pada tahun 2009, meliputi sekitar 20 komoditi. Komoditi perkebunan yang memberikan sharing

5.1 Food Crops

Paddy production in 2009 reached 1,870,775 tons, or has an increase of 6.86 percent from a year earlier. Rice production during the two years experienced a considerable increase. Production of food crops in the year 2009 also experienced an increase of almost all except the green beans that reach production of 33,775 tons that previously reached 39,756 tons.

Nusa Tenggara Barat is an onion-high producing areas. In year 2009 production reached 133,945 tons of onions increased from the previous which reached 68,748 tons. Very high increase occurred in Bima. Many types of vegetables and fruits produced in the Nusa Tenggara Barat. Fruit that produced lot enough in NTB are mangoes.

5.2. Plantation

Plantation in the province of NTB in the year 2009, covering about 20 commodities. Plantation commodities that provide the greatest share of

tembakau NTB memberikan sharing 5 terbesar dalam produksi nasional. Pada tahun 2009 mencapai 57.707,2 ton atau mencapai peningkatan sebesar 13,14 persen.

Selain tembakau, tanaman yang juga mendapat perhatian pemerintah daerah untuk dikembangkan adalah tanaman jambu mete. Produksi jambu mete di Provinsi NTB pada tahun 2009 telah mencapai 15.398,93 ton dengan sentra produksi terdapat di Kabupaten Dompu.

5.3. Kehutanan

Produksi hutan dapat di-kelompokkan menjadi kayu dan hasil hutan non-kayu. Nilai produksi hasil hutan kayu dan non-kayu dapat dilihat pada tabel 5.3.2-5.3.3. Selain dari hasil hutan sendiri, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kayu di NTB juga diperoleh dari daerah lain. Pemasok kayu terbesar untuk wilayah NTB adalah Sulawesi Tengah dan Kalimantan Tengah.

Hasil kehutanan selain kayu yang banyak dimanfaatkan untuk kerajinan adalah rotan dan bambu. Hasil hutan lainnya yang juga memberikan kontribusi dalam perekonomian Nusa Tenggara Barat adalah hasil hutan berupa madu, yang

provides five largest in the national production. In the year 2009 reached 57,707.2 tons or achieve an increase of 13.14 percent.

Beside tobacco, plants which also got the attention of local governments to develop is a cashew nut plants. Cashew production in the province of NTB in the year 2009 has reached 15,398.93 tons with the production center located at Dompu Regency.

5.3. Forestry

Forest production can be grouped into the wood and non-timber forest products. The production value of forest products and non-wood timber can be seen in the table 5.3.2-5.3.3. Beside from it forests, to meet the needs of timber in the NTB was also obtained from other regions. Largest timber supplier to NTb Province is Sulawesi Tengah and Kalimantan Tengah.

Results of forest other than wood that widely used for handicrafts is rattan and bamboo. Other forest products that also contribute to the economy of Nusa Tenggara Barat is honey, which is also muchly exported.

Agriculture 5.4. Peternakan

Salah satu usaha pemerintah di bidang peternakan adalah melakukan pembinaan kepada peternak untuk dapat menjadi daerah sejuta sapi. Ternak besar yang dikembangkan di NTB adalah sapi, kerbau dan kuda. Populasi Sapi hingga tahun 2009 baru mencapai 592.875 ekor, kerbau 155.307 ekor dan kuda sebanyak 77.837 ekor.

Ternak kecil yang banyak terdapat di NTB adalah kambing mencapai 439.989 ekor. Ternak besar maupun ternak kecil seperti kambing banyak di ekspor keluar daerah NTB dengan tujuan Jawa, Kalimantan dan Sulawesi.

Berdasarkan data dari Dinas Peternakan Provinsi NTB, jumlah pemotongan ternak pada tahun 2009, tercatat sebanyak 40.152 ekor sapi, 9.960 ekor kerbau, dan 2.137 ekor kuda. Untuk ternak kecil, jumlah pemotongan sebesar 12.738 ekor kambing, 50 ekor domba, dan 1.600 ekor babi.

5.5. Perikanan

Produksi perikanan pada tahun 2009 sebanyak 284.923 ton yang terdiri dari 246.738,1 ton perikanan laut, dan 38.185,2 ton perikanan darat. Data yang lebih rinci dapat

5.4. Livestock

One of the government's efforts in the field of animal husbandry is to conduct training to local farmers, to be able to become a million cows area. Big animals that developed in the NTB is cows, buffaloes and horses. Cattle population by the year 2009 has just reached 592,87; 155,307 buffaloes; and 77,837 horses.

Small livestock that many in NTB is goat, which reached 439,989 number. Large livestock and small livestock such as goats in many areas is exporting out of NTB with the purpose to Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.

Based on data from the Livestock Service of NTB Province, number of animals slaughtered in the year 2009, there were 40,152 cattle, buffaloes 9,960, and 2,137 horses. For small ruminants, the number of cuts amounting to 12,738 goats, 50 sheep, and 1,600 pigs.

5.5. Fishery

Fishery production in the year 2009 as many as 284,923 tons consisting of 246,738.1 tons of marine fisheries, and inland fisheries 38,185.2 tons.
