INTRODUCTION
This subject is designed to allow students to: 1) develop their self confidence in scientific english communication; 2) to bu ild their under standing of basic English str uctur e and gr ammar ; 3) to be able under standing scientific r eadings; and 4) to impr ove their academic w r i ting skills; specifically in Biological context.
STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
By passing this subject, students should be able to
1. apply and implement English gr ammar and t enses in daily and scientific communication thr ough speaking and listening English 2. r ead and compr ehend the biological scientific paper that ar e w r itten in English
3. w r ite and compose simple communication notes such as letter s, stor y and cur r iculum vitae in English
