Erna Lubis – Hidup di dalam Kulkas
Erna Lubis, vokalis utama dengan band Kulkas, memang punya suara yang unik. Majalah Bintang mewawancarai penyanyi yang terkenal ini, di kota Jakarta bulan yang lalu selama tur nasionalnya.
Bagaimana Anda mulai karier Anda sebagai penyanyi?
Saya mulai bernyanyi waktu masih muda. Tetapi untuk saya bernyanyi hanya hobi. Saya tidak pernah kira jalan karier saya ada dalam bidang musik.
Jadi, semua ini mulai dari hobi?
Ya, hobi kedua orangtua saya bernyanyi. Sejak saya kecil, saya ingat ibu saya bernyanyi sambil memasak. Juga, bapak saya dulu anggota band. Band itu berlatih di garasi kami. Aneh kalau musik tidak terdengar di rumah keluarga kami.
Bagaimana cara Anda berlatih menyanyi?
Ayah saya memiliki koleksi besar video karaoke. Setiap akhir minggu kami bernyanyi bersama-sama. Biasanya, ketika saya selesai menyanyikan satu lagu, ayah akan mengulangi lagu yang sama, tetapi diturunkan setengah oktaf atau dinaikkan setengah oktaf. Begitulah suara unik saya.
Apa target Erna di dunia musik?
Saya bercita-cita memiliki album solo. Mungkin tidak dalam waktu dekat, karena saya sekarang masih bertanggung jawab dengan Kulkas. Selain itu, saya juga ingin sekali bernyanyi dengan dua penyanyi yang sangat menginspirasi saya, yaitu Putrisara dan Nicky Wiratno.
Ada minat lain di luar dunia musik?
Saya tidak menutup kemungkinan akan mencoba bidang lain. Akting salah satunya. Saya ingin mencoba berperan di film dengan temanya yang sudah sangat akrab dengan saya, yaitu musik.
Pacar Anda, Bayu Saputra, pemusik juga?
Ya, kami berpacaran sudah dua tahun tetapi belum ada rencana untuk menikah.
Ada rencana untuk membuat sebuah lagu bersama?
Tentu saja. Bayu sangat hebat dalam menulis lagu dan saya ingin belajar darinya. Dia juga bisa memainkan alat musik, satu lagi aset yang bisa saya pelajari. Mungkin, pada masa depan, kami berdua bisa menghasilkan lagu yang bagus dan bisa menjadi hit di Indonesia.
