Program Overview
KOMPAK (Governance for Growth) is a large and complex program that is uniquely placed to add value to the Government of Indonesia’s own efforts to improve the social and economic conditions of its citizens; it is aimed at economic expansion and poverty reduction in Indonesia. Abt JTA is supporting frontline services—including health and education—while identifying governance constraints. The work accompanies implementation of Village Law, new national rules that empower local communities and increase the direct flow of money to village governments and services. KOMPAK seeks to strengthen the capacity of all levels of government to improve services, respond to citizen needs and contribute to stable prosperity. Purpose :
KOMPAK is planning to prototype, develop, and deploy a mesh network system utilizing low-cost, low-power hardware (e.g. Raspberry Pi) that is capable of running a distributed, redundant information services (VoIP, small web applications, file storage) over wireless networks. Open-source frameworks already exist for developing mesh networks on platforms such as the Pi, as do open-source platforms for running the services on standard Apache web servers. This position is for a developer to integrate these existing frameworks and platforms to run in a distributed fashion on self-discovering mesh nodes. The developer will also build
web-based administration interfaces for reporting on mesh network activity analytics, and document procedures for updating, maintaining, and backing up/restoring software to the mesh network.

This position is for a developer to integrate these existing frameworks and platforms to run in a distributed fashion on self-discovering mesh nodes. Specific Duties
• Integrate open-source frameworks and platforms to run in a distributed fashion on self-discovering mesh nodes.

• Work closely with project lead in the development and enhancement of web applications.
• Develop ETL systems to integrate data between APIs of various applications
• Configure hosting environments, servers, and new instances of web applications • Work with project lead to develop testable specifications from requirements
• Develop and iterate web applications per evolving user requirements
• Ensure that all code is properly commented and checked into version control

• Mendokumentasikan prosedur untuk pembaharuan, pemeliharaan, dan membuat cadangan / pemulihan kembali perangkat lunak kedalam jaringan mesh.
• Erat bekerjasama dengan pimpinan proyek dalam mengembangkan dan memperluas aplikasi-aplikasi web.
• Mengembangkan sistem ETL untuk mengintegrasikan data antara API dari bermacam-macam aplikasi.
• Membuat konfigurasi lingkungan induk, server, dan kasus-kasus baru dari aplikasi web. • Bekerjasama dengan pimpinan proyek untuk mengembangan spesifikasi dari persyaratan yang dapat diujikan.
• Mengembangkan dan menjabarkan aplikasi web sesuai dengan kebutuhan-kebutuhan pengguna yang berkembang.
• Memastikan bahwa semua kode diberi komentar dengan tepat dan diperiksa sesuai dengan pengendalian versi.
Other Tasks
Immediately report any suspected fraudulent or corrupt activities to your KOMPAK supervisor or relevant Director. Proactively identify and report risks, and
manage risks within your level of accountability.
Undertake other duties as required by your supervisor.

Key Selection Criteria
For your application to be considered by the panel, interested applicants must submit a response to each of the following Key Selection Criteria:
KSC 1. Expert experience with CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAXs
KSC 2. Experience with MVC frameworks such as Django/Flask, Laravel/CodeIgniter, Rails KSC 3. Ability to build and interface with MySQL and noSQL databases
KSC 4. Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
KSC 5. Proficiency in least two backend web languages such as PHP5, Python, Ruby KSC 6. Familiarity with modern web stack technologies such as Node.js and MongoDB;
familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Backbone, Ember
KSC 7. Experience with mesh networks and has formal CS background or related experience.
If no response to the above Key Selection Criteria is made, applications will not be considered further.
