THE MOTIVATION IMPACT TO WORK SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYEE AT PT (Persero) PELABUHAN INDONESIA II CABANG PANJANG

Motivation is a giving work motif process of lower employee so that they can work with purity heart in order to get organization goal efficiently. Giving the motivation policy that is given by company such as : compensation and subsidy to crate and support work satisfaction of employee on their work.
Problems that is faced by PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II Cabang Panjang are high absence level on each month which is 4,63%, meanwhile the limit that is tolerated by company is about 4%, effective office hour that is not on target yet, and highly labor turn over. High absence level, effective office hour that is not on target yet and high labor turn over are indications of
decreasing work satisfaction of employee as the impact of low motivation that is given by company, main point of this script is “ Does the motivation impact to work satisfaction of employee at PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II Cabang Panjang?”.
The purpose of this writing is to know the motivation impact to work satisfaction of employee at PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II Cabang Panjang.
which means that the value of motivation impact to work satisfaction of employee is 38,2%, and the remaining value about 61,8% explained by others variables of out motivation. Besides that, t value (5,443) > T-table (2,011) and t value signification about 0,0000 that means answering the hypothesis of this research which is motivation impact to work satisfaction of employee PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II Cabang Panjang. According to questionnaire result, it could be seen that first statement about work satisfaction, came from psychology factor which was dominated from all of answers about 4,10%. And the thing that need to be watched by a company is on social factor, because from all the result of answers, this factor had the lowest score about 3,32%
Suggestions that are given to PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II Cabang Panjang, such as : the company need to try increasing the motivation giving to the employee, not only economic motivation but also non-economy motivation. Then, the executives of company need to be more care to the factors that related with appropriate factors surroundings, work allocation of
