Hubungan antara Adversity Quotient dengan Komitmen Organisasi pada Medical Representative di Kota Medan

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara AQ dengan komitmen organisasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah medical representative yang berjumlah 91 orang dengan masa kerja minimal 1 tahun. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode incidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala komitmen organisasi berdasarkan teori Allen dan Meyer yang mencakup komitmen afektif, komitmen berkelanjutan dan komitmen normatif dan skala adversity quotient berdasarkan teori Paul G. Stoltz. Teknik analisa data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil pengujian hipotesa menunjukkan bahwa 1) adversity quotient berkorelasi secara positif dengan komitmen afektif, 2) adversity quotient tidak berkorelasi dengan komitmen keberlanjutan, dan 3) adversity quotient tidak berkorelasi dengan komitmen normatif.

The Relationship between Adversity Quotient and Organizational Commitment among Medical Representatives in Medan

ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the relationship between AQ and organizational commitment. This study involved 91 employees who work as medical representative with minimum one year job tenure. Sampling was done by incidental sampling. Data were collected by using Organizational Commitment
Scale based on Allen and Meyer’s theory, including affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment, and Adversity Quotient Scale based on Paul G. Stoltz’s theory. Data were analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The result of this research indicates that 1) there is a positive relationship between adversity quotient and affective commitment, 2) there is no relationship between adversity quotient and continuance commitment, and 3) there is no relationship between adversity quotient and normative commitment.
