AMENDMENT NO . 1

TO

PROJECT LOAN AGREEMENT

BETWEEN THE

REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

AND THE

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

FOR

IN- COUNTRY MANAGBMENT DEVELOPMENT

Dated: September 12 , 1985

This AMENDMJ:;N'l' NO . l is entered into between the R.EPUBLIC OF

INDONESIA ("Borrower") and the UNI'rEO STATES OF AMERICA, acting

through the AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ("A. I. D.").

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. entered into a Loan Agreement,

designated as In-Country Management Development Project No. 497-0317,

Loan No. 497-V-068, on August 24, ＱｾＸＲ＠ ("Loan Agreement"), whereby

A.I.D. agreed to lend to the Borrower up to Four Million United

States ("U . S.") Dollars ($4,000,000) ("Loan");

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I . D. agree that the purposes of the

Project may still be achieved with a reduction in the Loan of

$810,000;

NOW THEREFORE, the Borrower and A.I.D. hereby agree as follows:

1. section 3.1. amended by deleting the words and figure "four

million United States ("u.s.") dollars ($4,000,000)" and

substituting therefor "three million one hundred and ninety thousand

United States ("U . S.") dollars ($3,190,000)."

2. A revised financial plan is attached to this Amendment as

Annex I .

3. Except as hereinabove expressly amended, the Loan Agreement

is ratified, confirmed and remains in full force and effect in

- I.

-IN WITNESS WHEREOf', the Borrower and the United States of

America, each acting througn its respective duly authorized

representative, have caused this Amendment No. 1 to be signed in

their names and delivered as of the day and year first above written.
