KATA PENGANTAR

Assalamu`alaikum Wr. Wb.

Perencanaan pembangunan di berbagai bidang membutuhkan fungsi data statistik sebagai acuan untuk perencanaan dan juga sebagai bahan evaluasi terhadap hasil pembangunan yang telah dilaksanakan.

Publikasi Kota Ternate Dalam Angka 2015 ini menyajikan data statistik dari berbagai sumber baik produk Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) berupa output dari berbagai kegiatan BPS maupun dtata yang bersumber dari instansi lain yang ada di Kota Ternate.

Secara umum publikasi ini menggambarkan kondisi Kota Ternate selama tahun 2014 dengan berbagai bidang cakupan antara lain sosial dan ekonomi.

The Ternate Municipality in Figures 2015 became a part to acomplish our statistic function, those are to spread statistic data/informations for planning and evaluation in Ternate Municipality development.

3 PENJELASAN TEKNIS

Keduanya sama penting dan

menjadi kekayaan BPS.

7. Cakupan Wilayah

Pencacahan Podes dilakukan secara sensus terhadap seluruh wilayah administrasi pemerintahan terendah

Pengumpulan data Podes 2014

langsung oleh petugas terlatih dengan narasumber yang relevan. Petugas adalah aparatur ataupun mitra kerja BPS Kabupaten/Kota, sementara narasumber adalah kepala desa/lurah atau narasumber lain yang memiliki pengetahuan

terhadap wilayah target

pencacahan.

9. Desa/Kelurahan Tepi Laut adalah desa/kelurahan yang sebagian atau seluruh wilayahnya bersinggungan langsung dengan laut, baik berupa pantai maupun tebing karang.

10. Desa/Kelurahan bukan tepi laut

adalah desa/kelurahan yang

wilayahnya tidak bersinggungan langsung dengan laut.

11. Desa/Kelurahan Lereng/Puncak

8. Method of Data Collection

Data collection of Podes 2014 carried out through direct interviews by trained personnel with relevant respondents. The interviewers are BPS Regency/City personnel or partners, meanwhile, the selected respondents are the village head/sub-district head or other respondents who have the knowledge towards the target area of enumeration.

9. Coastal Village/Coastal Sub-District is a village/sub-district which some areas are intersect/directly adjacent to the sea, either gently sloping/flat beach or cliffs/reef.

10.Non Coastal Village/Non Coastal Sub-District is a village which has no area that intersect/directly adjacent to the sea.

pemilihan umum (pemilu) dan dilantik dalam masa jabatan lima tahun.

Daerah (DPRD) Kota Ternate Periode sekarang merupakan hasil dari pemilihan umum (Pemilu) tahun 2014

3. Pemilihan kepala daerah (walikota dan wakil wali kota) Kota Ternate

dilakukan terakhir pada bulan

Desember 2015 untuk masa periode 2016 – 2020.

Kota Ternate sebelumnya

merupakan Kota Administratif yang berada di bawah binaan Daerah Maluku Utara. Kemudian, melalui

Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 1999

bersamaan dengan pembentukan

Provinsi Maluku Utara Kota Ternate

dinaikkan statusnya menjadi

Kotamadya. Sejak berdiri dari Kota Administratif hingga meningkat status

menjadi Kotamadya, secara

administratif Kota Ternate terdiri dari 3 Kecamatan dan 58 Kelurahan. Pada tahun 2001 dimekarkan menjadi 4 kecamatan selanjutnya tahun 2009

dimekarkan kembali menjadi 7

kecamatan.

Jumlah wakil rakyat yang duduk pada lembaga legislatif, yaitu Dewan

Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD)

sebanyak 30 orang, dengan 25 orang laki-laki dan 5 orang perempuan. Sebagian besar wakil rakyat pada

lembaga ini memiliki pendidikan

tertinggi D IV / S1.

Secara organisasi, lembaga wakil rakyat tahun ini merupakan hasil dari Pemilihan Umum tahun 2014 yang terdiri dari 12 fraksi, yaitu PDI-P ,PPP

sebanyak 4 kursi, Partai Golkar,

Demokrat, Nasdem sebanyak 3 kursi, Partai Hanura, Partai Gerindra, PKS,

Ternate Municipality was previously the Administrative Regions of North Maluku. Then, through Law No. 11 of 1999 with the formation of Ternate Municipality in Maluku Utara province raised the status of a municipality. Since inception of the Administrative City to a municipality, as the administrative city, Ternate consists of three subdistricts and 58 districts. In 2001 further divided into 4 subdistricts and in 2009 it has become 7 subdistricts.

The number of representatives on the legislature, House of Representatives (DPRD) has 30 members, comprising 25 men and a women. Most of the members in these institutions have a bachelor degree background.
