3.2 Kependudukan

Sumber

utama

data

kependudukan

adalah

Sensus

Penduduk yang dilaksanakan setiap

sepuluh tahun sekali. Sensus Penduduk

telah dilaksanakan sebanyak 6 kali

sejak Indonesia merdeka yaitu pada

tahun 1961, 1971, 1980, 1990, 2000,

dan 2010.

Metode

pengumpulan

data

dalam

sensus

dilakukan

dengan

wawancara antara petugas sensus

dengan

responden.

Pencacahan

dilakukan terhadap seluruh penduduk

yang berdomisili di seluruh wilayah

teritorial Indonesia termasuk warga

negara asing kecuali anggota Korps

Diplomatik negara sahabat beserta

keluarganya.

Bagi penduduk yang bertempat

tinggal tetap, dicacah dimana mereka

biasa tinggal. Akan tetapi jika sedang

bertugas ke luar wilayah lebih dari 6

bulan,

tidak

dicacah

di

tempat

tinggalnya. Sebaliknya, seseorang atau

keluarga menempati suatu bangunan

belum mencapai 6 bulan tetapi

bermaksud menetap disana, dicacah di

tempat tersebut.

Untuk penduduk yang tidak

bertempat tinggal tetap dicacah di

3.1 Demography

The

main

source

of

demographic

data

is

Population

Census, which is conducted every ten

years. Population census has been

conducted six time since Indonesia’s

Independence; 1961, 1971, 1980,

1990, 2000, and 2010.

Data

were

collected

by

interviewing

respondents.

The

population census enumerates all

residents domicile in the entire

territory of Republic of Indonesia

including foreign citizenship except the

diplomatic corps member and their

families.

The permanent residents were

enumerated in place where they

normally live. However if they had

been away from their former home for

six months or more were not

enumerated in their permanent places.

In contrast, someone or a family who

moved to another place less tan six

months but intended to settle there, was

enumerated in that place.

The non permanent residents

were enumerated where they were

3.1.1 Jumlah penduduk

Penduduk

Kendari

berdasarkan Sensus Penduduk 2000

berjumlah

205.240 jiwa.

Ketika

dilakukan

Survei

Penduduk

Antarsensus (Supas) pada tahun 2005,

diketahui

jumlah

penduduk

kota

Kendari meningkat menjadi 226.056

jiwa. Jumlah penduduk berdasarkan

hasil Sensus Penduduk 2010 tercatat

sebanyak 289.966 jiwa.

Jumlah Penduduk Tahun 2011

adalah sebesar 295.737 jiwa. Penduduk

tersebut tersebar dengan persebaran

yang tidak merata. Pada tahun 2011,

sebanyak 14,81 persen penduduk kota

Kendari tinggal di wilayah Kendari

Barat, hanya 6,68 persen tinggal di

Kecamatan baruga, dan selebihnya

tersebar pada 8 kecamatan dengan

persebaran

yang

bervariasi.

Di

samping itu, dilakukan penghitungan

kepadatan penduduk pada

masing-masing

wilayah

Kecamatan.

Kepadatan

penduduk

adalah

banyaknya penduduk per km persegi.

Kadia merupakan kecamatan dengan

kepadatan penduduk paling tinggi yaitu

sebesar 5.184 jiwa per km

2

sedangkan

Baruga merupakan kecamatan dengan

people, ship crew, boat people,remote

3.1.1 Number of population

Population of Kendari City

based on the 2000 Population Census

were 205,240 inhabitants. At the 2005

Intercensal Population Survey (Supas),

the number population of Kendari City

increased to be 226,056 inhabitants.

The number of population based on

Popilation census at 2010 were

counted 289,966 inhabitants.

The number of population at

2011

were

counted

295.737 inhabitants. The population is spread

out with an uneven distribution. In the

year 2011, 14.81 percent of population

of Kendari City live in Kendari Barat

district, then only 6.68 percent live in

Baruga district, and rest spread over at

8 districts with varying distribution.

Despitefully, it’s done counting of

population density at each district

region. Population density is the

number of people per square kilometer.

Kadia is the district with the highest

population density that is equal to

5.184 inhabitants per km2 while

Baruga the districts with the lowest

population density of 405 inhabitants

per km

2

banyaknya penduduk perempuan pada

suatu daerah dan waktu tertentu.

Biasanya

dinyatakan

dengan

banyaknya penduduk laki-laki untuk

100 perempuan. Rasio jenis kelamin

penduduk Kota Kendari sebesar 101,98

Atau dengan kata lain, terdapat 102

penduduk laki-laki untuk tiap 100

penduduk perempuan.

3.1.2 Laju pertumbuhan

penduduk

Rata-rata

laju

pertumbuhan

penduduk

adalah

angka

yang

menunjukkan tingkat pertumbuhan

penduduk per tahun dalam jangka

waktu tertentu. Selama periode tahun

2000 sampai dengan tahun 2011, untuk

laju pertumbuhan penduduk menurut

kecamatan,

Baruga

merupakan

kecamatan dengan laju pertumbuhan

penduduk tertinggi yaitu sebesar 2,00

persen per tahun. Selanjutnya

Wua-wua merupakan kecamatan dengan laju

pertumbuhan penduduk paling rendah

yaitu sebesar 1,98 persen per tahun.

Secara

umum,

laju

pertumbuhan

penduduk kota Kendari sebesar 1,99

persen per tahun.

males residents than females. Sex ratio

is the ratio of the number of males to

the number of females in a given área

and time usually expressed as the

number of males for every 100 females.

The sex ratio of population in Kendari

City is counted 101,98 Or equallys,

there are 102 males population for

every 100 females population.

3.1.2 Growth rate of

population

Average

growth

rate

of

population is the anual population

growth rate over a certain period.

During the period 2000 to 2011, for

the rate of population growth by

district, Baruga is a district with the

highest population growth rate that is

equal to 2.00 percent per year. Further

Wua-wua is a district with the lowest

population growth rate that is equal to

1.98 percent per year. In general,

average growth rate of population of

Kendari City is 1,99 percent per year.

3.2 Ketenagakerjaan

Angkatan Kerja Nasional (Sakernas).

Survei ini dirancang khusus untuk

mengumpulkan data ketenagakerjaan.

Pada tahun 1994-2001, Sakernas

dilaksanakan secara tahunan yaitu pada

setiap bulan Agustus. Pada tahun

2002-2004, disamping Sakernas tahunan

dilakukan pula Sakernas triwulanan.

Hal itu dimaksudkan untuk memantau

indikator ketenagakerjaan secara dini

di Indonesia, yang mengacu pada

KILM (

the key indicators of the

Labour

Market

)

yang

direkomendasikan

oleh

ILO

(

International Labour Organization

).

Sejak tahun 2005, pengumpulan data

Sakernas

dilaksanakan

secara

semesteran

pada

bulan

Februari

(semester I) dan Agustus (semester II).

Inflation factor

yang digunakan dalam

penghitungan angka hasil Sakernas

didasarkan pada total penduduk dirinci

menurut kelompok umur, kecamatan,

dan daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan

hasil penghitungan penduduk.

3.2.1 Jumlah penduduk yang

bekerja

Penduduk dapat dikelompokkan

menjadi penduduk usia kerja dan

bukan usia kerja. Penduduk usia kerja

adalah penduduk yang berumur 15

tahun ke atas. Dalam hal ini di Kota

Kendari pada tahun 2011 terdapat

77,282 jiwa yang tergolong dalam

penduduk usia kerja.

3.2 Employment

The main source of employment

data is National Labour Force Survey

(Sakernas). This survey is specifically

designed to collect information on

employment statistics. During

1994-2001, Sakernas was conducted yearly,

every august of the year. During the

period 2002-2004, besides a yearly

Sakernas, BPS also conducted a

quarterly

Sakernas.

A

quarterly

Sakernas is aimed to monitor the

prompt indicators of Indonesian labour

market which referred to the Key

Indicators of the Labour Market

(KILM) recommended by ILO (the

International Labour Organization).

Since 2005, Sakernas has been

conducted in semester period, i.e.

February (semester I) and August

(semester II). The inflation factor was

calculated on the basis of total

population categorised by age group,

district, and región (urban and rural).

3.2.1 Number

of

working

population

Population can be grouped to

become working age population and

non working age population. Working

age population is population aged 15

year and over. In this case, there were

77,282 inhabitants of kendari City in

the year 2011 who belong to the

working age population.

angkatan kerja. Angkatan kerja adalah

penduduk usia kerja (15 tahun dan

lebih) yang bekerja, atau punya

pekerjaan namun sementara tidak

bekerja

dan

pengangguran.

Ada

sejumlah 198,109 jiwa yang tergolong

penduduk angkatan kerja.

Dari sejumlah angkatan kerja

tersebut, terdapat 120,827 jiwa yang

bekerja. Bekerja adalah melakukan

pekerjaan dengan maksud memperoleh

atau

membantu

memperoleh

pendapatan atau keuntungan dan

lamanya bekerja paling sedikit selama

satu jam secara terus menerus dalam

seminggu yang lalu (termasuk pekerja

keluarga tanpa upah yang membantu

dalam suatu usaha/kegiatan ekonomi).

Jumlah jam kerja seluruhnya adalah

jumlah jam kerja yang digunakan

untuk bekerja (tidak termasuk jam

kerja istirahat resmi dan jam kerja

digunakan

untuk

hal-hal

diluar

pekerjaan). Adapun status pekerjaan

adalah kedudukan seseorang dalam

unit usaha/ kegiatan dalam melakukan

pekerjaan.

Pekerja tak dibayar adalah

seseorang yang bekerja membantu

usaha

untuk

memperoleh

penghasilan/keuntungan

yang

dilakukan oleh salah seorang anggota

rumah tangga atau bukan anggota

rumah

tangga

tanpa

mendapat

upah/gaji.

Hereinafter

working

age

population is grouped into labor force

population and non labor forcé

population. Labour forcé are people

aged 15 years old and over who, in the

week,

were

working,

temporarily absent from work but

having Jobs, and those who did not

have job and were looking for work.

There are 198,109 inhabitants which

categorised as labor forcé.

From a number of the labor

forces, there are 120,827 working

population. The concept of working

means activity intended to earn income

by doing work or helping to do work at

least one hour continuously during the

reference week (including unpaid

family worker for any eceonomic

activity). Total working hours is the

total hours spent by an employee to

perform all Jobs (excluding the time

used for other activities which are not

classified as work). Then employment

status is the status of a person at his

place of work or establishment where

he was employed.

Unpaid worker is a person who

intended to work without pay in an

estblishment run by other members of

the family, relative or neighbour.

3.2.2 Jumlah pencari kerja

Lapangan usaha adalah bidang

kegiatan dari pekerjaan/ tempat bekerja

dimana seseorang bekerja. Klasifikasi

lapangan usaha mengikuti Klasifikasi

Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia

(KBLI) dalam 1 digit. Dewasa ini

ketersediaan lapangan usaha sangat

terbatas. Dalam dunia kerja persaingan

semakin kompetitif. Dari sejumlah

angkatan kerja seperti yang tercantum

sebelumnya, masih terdapat 7,227

(5,64%) jiwa yang sedang menganggur

atau mencari pekerjaan. Persentase

tersebut hanya jauh lebih kecil

dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya yang

mencapai 13,49 persen.

3.2.2 Number of unemployment

establishment.

The

classification of industries follows the

Indonesia

Standard

Industrial

Classification (KBLI) in one digit.

These days availibility of industry is

very limited. In labour world, the

emulation is increasingly competitive.

From a number of labor forces like the

one written before all, there are still

7,227 ( 5,64%) inhabitants which is

being out of job or looking for work.

The percentage is only a few smaller

compared to year before which

reaching 13.49 percent.
