The subject of wine is a fascinating one to some! To others it may be a bore, and to others something that is quite incompreLiatening comprehension is the mnost problem in Englihensible, and this is a shame - - they simply don‟t know what they are missing. The loving thing about getting to know your wine is to drink it! This most pleasesant of pastimes, coupled with a little concentration and intelligent observation, can be repaid with a great deal of enjoyment. Quite simply wine is the fermented juice of the grape. Fermentation is the conversion, induced by yeast cells, of the grape sugar into alcohol - - and there you have wine.

Red wines have a longer fermentation period than white wines, as the whole grape is fermented within the juice to extract the full colour, flavour and tannin. Tannin is an important element in red wine. It enables the juice to be kept for long periods while it matures.

There is little tannin in white grapes, so the juice is fermented without the skins and for a shorter period than for red wines. The „must‟ in the vats seethes and bubbles during fermentation, and a close watch has to be maintained on the temperature - - a fast, hot fermentation can spoiln the wines, making them harsh and coarse. When all activity has ceased, the wines are run from the vats into barrels - - leaving behind the skins and sediment - - and are left to settle for several months.

During this period new sediment, which is the accumulation of dead yeast cells, is forming all the time, so periodically the wine is run off into new barrels. This is called „racking‟. The final step in eliminating any cloudiness in the wine after racking, is „fining‟. Natural substances are added to collect any remaining particles and to ensure that the wine is clear and pure. Then it is ready for bottling.

Interviewer : I have twelve questions for you to answer, and the first question is. According to you what the most difficult of language learning problems?

Interviewee : Listening

Interviewer : why ?

Interviwee: Because, you know is different when Indonesian people talking and other countries talking, when we studying in Listening is like in American people or British people, they talk so fast, but Indonesian people stil clear but American people or British people cannot clear to understand.

Interviewer : So what the strategy that you have done to overcome your problem in listening ability?

Interviewee : Watching movie without subtitle, and take some test in listening with repeat the recording.

Interviewer : Do you often practice English (speaking) with your friends in school or outside?

Interviewee : Not really, because in class, we also speak with Indonesian language

Interviewer : So what the strategy to solve the problem? ( speaking skill)

Interviewee : Sometimes, trying to speak with friends

Interviewer : Do you ever join other extraculicular outside to improve your ability of English?

Interviewee : Not yet, No

Interviewer : Do you take some courses?

Interviewee : No

Interviewer : If you have listening section, did you annoying with other noises?

Interviewee: Yes of course, because listening is hard for me. So, I will felt annoying if there many noises arround me to hear the materials in listening section.

Interviewee: Yeah, I ever write a letter in the class

Interviewee : Because, when I took course, the lowest is listening, it‟s hard and I can‟t listen it

Interviewee : In our class, there are native speaker, so we often speak with native

Interviewee : I just get the point not the whole

Interviewee : Yes, I try to listen talkshow without subtitle, I listen Ellen talkshow or American got talents. It enjoys to listen.

Interviewee : English courses only, last year.

Interviewer : If you have listening section, did you annoying with other noises arround you ?

Interviewee : Yes, and I close my eyes. It is helpful for me to concentrate the listening material

Interviewee : Yes, better than listening

Interviewee : Because in reading comprehension, I just find the answer with a way see the qustion and find answer from the text.

Interviewer : While reading a text, what the suitable strategies you did?

Interviewee : I see the word refers from the question and connect with the purpose of the text.

Interviewer : So, you use decoding strategy with a way see a bold word from the question and you find the purpose or meaning it from the whole text, right?

Interviewee : Yes, I use that strategy, I am also read reapeatly and underline the main point from the text.

Interviewer : Do you have write formal letter?

Interviewee : Yes, but I don‟t know the grammar correct or not because we just ask to write in class, especially writing in Bahasa Inggris or Bahasa Indonesia lesson.

Interviewer : How often did you practice yor ability in speaking?

Interviewee : Rarely, because I‟m not comfortable speak up with other people that makes me comfort

Interviewer : Have you felt worried about mistakes while you want to speak, moreover, you really know what you want to say just woirried about mistakes, have you?

Interviewee : I let myself to concern with the ideas and speak up

Interviewee : Yes, because I think if I see the subtitle from the movie, it makes me know many vocabularies

Interviewee : I‟m confuse when I ask to arrange the sentence word by word whether approriate or not, I‟m also confuse about the using of some grammatical rules like Subject-verb agreement, noun plurals, etc.

Interviewee : Yes, I agree

Interviewee : I think, good grammar and good vocabularies that important in writing English.

Interviewee : According to me, the strategy for listening I‟m try to listen more western/ English song. For speaking, practice with my mother as one of person that always makes comfort. For reading,I raed story in English to add my vocabularies. For writing, I study more and more about grammar and add vocabularies.
