Australian De:,'ciopnrent Scholarships (ADS) provide op" -^tunities for Indonesians to study in Ar"rstralia at POSTGRADUATE level.

Up to thlee hundred and

fifty

scholarships are expected to be awarded

in

2011

for

commencement

in 20lll2Al,2.

Candidates rrrust undertake

shrdy in one of the four ai3as of development priority (see page ii,).

ADS are offered in fwo main categories: 'Public Scctor Category'and 'Open Category'.

Public

sector

applicants

are

employes5

from

Govemment organizations, state universities and state owned enterprises. Their applications

must

be

approved

by

training

or

foreign

cooperation

Scholarships are for fi-rll-time sfLrdy for a Vlasters or Doctorate degree

fion

ALrsralian tertiary institutions. The scholarship provides up to

nine months tull-time language and academic preparation in Indonesia.

Srrrdepts must achieve satisfactory results in this training to be able to

continue their scholarships.

Apptications from people with disabitities or from people in organisations working with the disabled are encouraged to apply. Wotnen and candidates in provinces within the geographic focus of

AUsAID's Country Strategy (see page ii) are also encouraged to appiy.
