A B S T R A C T
Urinary trad infection (UTI) is an infection of I he urinary tract and nearly 10% of people experience UTI during their lifeiime. According to theory, the increasing of urinary tract infections is related with increasing age, gender, education level and diabetes melitus history. This .study aim to analyze relationships between age, gender, education level, diabetes melitus history and the incidence of urinary tract infections in hospitalized patients and outpatients at Internal Medicine of Muhammadiyah Palembang Ho.spilal during P' January 2015-31" December 2015. This .study lipe was analyiical observaiional with cross sectional design by using secondary data from medical record of Muhammadiyah Palembang Hospital. Samples of this study were taken by consecutive sampling technique. The results of statistical test were obtained relationship between urinary tract infections with age (p 0,000). gender (p 0,000). education level (p 0,000) and diabetes melitus (p 0,000). In conclusion, there are significantly relationships between age. gender, education level, diabetes melitus history and the incidence of urinary tract infections in ho.spitalizedpatients and outpatients at Internal Medicine of Muhammadiyah Palembang Hospital during P' January 20J5-3P'December 2015.

1.1. Latar Belakang
