Gambaran Mean Platelet Volume Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 Yang Rawat Inap Di RSUP. Haji Adam Malik Medan Tahun 2014

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang :Penelitian epidemiologi di berbagai penjuru dunia menunjukkan

adanya kecenderungan peningkatan angka insidensi dan prevalensi DM Tipe 2.

Penyakit Diabetes Melitus (DM) Tipe 2 merupakan penyakit degeneratif yang

memerlukan upaya penanganan yang tepat dan serius karena dapat menimbulkan

komplikasi, salah satunya kelainan trombosit. Mean Platelet Volume (MPV)

merupakan gambaran dan ukuran rata-rata trombosit pada sirkulasi dan dapat

digunakan untuk menilai aktivitas trombosit.

Tujuan :Mengetahui gambaran

Mean Platelet Volume (MPV) pada pasien

Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di RSUP. Haji Adam Malik Tahun 2014.

Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan desain

cross sectional. Peneliti

melakukan analisis terhadap data rekam medis di RSUP.Haji Adam Malik Medan.

Pemilihan sampel secara total sampling dengan jumlah sample 113 orang.

Hasil :

Pasien DM Tipe 2 yang nilai HBA1c nya ≥6% (DM tidak terkontrol),

memiliki nilai MPV 9.56 ± 1.12 fL, DM Tipe 2 yang memiliki komplikasi lebih

dari dua, nilai MPV 10.26±1.19 fL, lama menderita 3-5 tahun, nilai MPV

9.75±1.08 fL, DM dengan ulkus memiliki nilai MPV 9.82±1.16 fL. Sedangkan

komplikasi yang paling banyak terjadi adalah nefropati (38.05%). Distribusi

demografi pasien rawat inap DM Tipe 2 ialah perempuan (51.3%), usia 31-60

tahun (61.9%), Ibu Rumah Tangga (29.2%), tinggal di Medan (33.6%), dan

pendidikan SLTA (64.6%).

Kesimpulan :Nilai MPV ditemukan semakin tinggi pada pasien DM yang tidak

terkontrol, semakin banyak komplikasi, dan adanya ulkus,

ABSTRACT

Introduction

:Epidemiological studies in various parts of the world showed an

inclination of increased incidence and prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2.

Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 is a degenerative disease that requires proper and

serious handling because it can cause complications, one of the complications is

platelet disorder. Mean Platelet Volume(MPV) is a picture and the average size of

platelets in circulation which can be used to assess the activity of platelets.

Objective

:to know the picture of MPV on patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

who are hospitalized at RSUP. Haji Adam Malik Medan period 2014.

Methods

: This research is a descriptive study with cross sectional design , where

data collection is done in one time in total sampling design is based on

observation of medical records of patients with Type 2 Diabetes Melitus in RSUP.

Haji Adam Malik Medan period 2014.

Result

:The results obtained are patients with Type 2 Diabetes Melitus have

HBA1c ≥ 6% (uncontrolled DM), has MPV 9.56±1.12 fL. Patients with Type 2

Diabetes Mellitus with more than two complications has MPV 10.26±1.19 fL, who

has been suffering this for 3-4 years, has MPV 9.75±1.08 fL, Type 2 DM with

gangrene has MPV MPV 9.82±1.16 fL. And the most common complication is

nephropathy (38.05%). Demographic distributions shows that hospitalized

patients with Type 2 DM are women (51.3%), aged 31-60 years (61.9%),

housewife (29.2%), living in Medan (33.6%) and a high school education

(64.6%).

Conclusion

:MPV is found more higher on uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

patients, have the more complications, and appearance of gangrene.
