REVOCATION OF THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 108/KP/1/1984 ON THE APPOINTMENT OF PT BERDIKARI AS THE SOLE
DISTRIBUTOR OF ALUMINIUM INGOTS PRODUCED BY PT INALUM (Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 231/MPP/Kep/6/1999
dated June 3, 1999)
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE,
Considering :
a. that in the framework of creating fair business competition and providing opportunity for foreign investment companies to undertake trading activities, it is necessary to revoke the Decree of the Minister of Trade No. 108/Kp/1/1984 on the appointment of PT Berdikari as the sole distributor of aluminium ingots produced by PT INALUM
b. that in relation thereto, it is necessary to stipulate a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade. In view of :
1. Law No. 5/1999 on prohibition of monopoly practices and unfair business competition (Statute Book of 1999 No. 33, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3817);
2. Government Regulation No. 36/1977 on the termination of foreign business activities in the field of trade as already amended several times and the latest by Government Regulation No. 15/1998; 3. Presidential decree No. 44/1974 on principles of organizations of ministries
4. Presidential Decree No. 61/1998 on the status, tasks, organizational structures and working arrangements of ministries as already amended several times and the latest by Presidential Decree No. 142/1998;
5. Presidential Decree No. 122/M/1998 on the establishment of the development reforms cabinet; Taking into account :
Master agreement between the government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Investors on rights and obligations of PT INALUM.

This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
