This research was conducted in a collaborative study with the English teacher of ninth grade students at MTs Darun Nasyi‟in Bumi Jawa East Lampung. Therefore, it is concluded that the use of round table technique can improve narrative text ability and student learning activity among ninth grade students at MTs Darun Nasyi‟in Bumi Jawa East Lampung.

Problem Identification

Based on the identification of the problem above, the researcher limits the problem in the students' insufficient narrative text writing ability. Therefore, the researcher used Roundtable as a teaching technique to improve narrative text writing ability among ninth grade students at MTs DARUN NASYI´IN BUMI JAWA EAST LAMPUNG.

Action Hypothesis

Sometimes the students don't know how to use it because the students get confused when they start writing. Meanwhile, the students do this under pressure to make this technique an effective way as an effective way.

Pre-test of this study was in the form of an essay test that asked the students to write a composition of simple narrative text in English. The real teacher also observed the researcher thinking in the classroom and the implementation of CAR based on the observation. To write worksheets, course outlines and classroom materials for the students of MTs Darun Nasyi'in East Lampung. In this research, the researcher used field notes to focus on a particular topic or teaching behavior over a period of time.

To observe the learning activity in each cycle, the researcher used an observation sheet. The researcher took field notes regarding paying attention to the teacher's explanation, asking/answering the teacher's question, activity in the classroom, doing the tasks given by the teacher, and activity in the group activity.

History of MTs Darun Nasyi'in Bumi Jawa East Lampung Based on the collected documents, it was found that Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Darun Nasyi'in Bumi Jawa East Lampung Timur was established in 2008. MTs Darun Nasyi'in was built with financial assistance the Australian government in cooperation with the Indonesian government. MTs Darun Nasyi'in Bumi Jawa was built under the auspices of Darun Nasyi'in Islamic Boarding Foundation.

This committee was formed by Darun Nasyi'in Islamic Boarding School together with the local community. The Students Quantity of MTs Darun Nasyi‟in Bumi Jawa East Lampung in the academic year of 2018/2019. The action of this research used Roundtable technique to improve the students' Narrative text writing ability.

In this procedure, the researcher divided the students into four groups consisting of seven to eight students in each group. In addition, the researcher used the third round table procedure that the teacher asked the students in the group to write words or phrases related to the topic. In addition, the researcher used the sixth round table procedure in which the teacher asked each group to make a correction.

In this procedure, the researcher asked each group to make correction related to the writing result. In this procedure, the researcher asked each group to review their result of simple or revised. In this procedure, the researcher divided the students into four groups consisting of seven to eight students in each group.

Furthermore, the researcher used the sixth procedure in the Roundtable, which is that the teacher asked each group to make corrections. In this procedure, the researcher asked each group to make corrections related to the writing result.

It could be concluded from the result observation in the learning process in cycle I that the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) of the research has not yet been achieved in the learning process.
