4A History of the First Baptist Church of Roanoke, Texas (Roanoke, TX: The History Committee of First Baptist Church Roanoke, Texas, 1990), 3. Jesus' earthly ministry was specifically instituted to spread the gospel of the kingdom of God to the lost sheep of Israel” (Matt. 15:24). Evangelistic intercession prays God to send more workers and to open the hearts of the lost to the gospel.

Evil forces harass any person who tries to bring the light of the gospel to the lost, stumbling and searching in the dark. Submission and obedience to the guidance of the Holy Spirit is necessary for effective intercession to achieve the goals of God's kingdom. Jesus Christ fully reveals the glory of God, and the ongoing intercession of the Holy Spirit is evidence of Christ's saving work.

Karl Barth, one of the most famous theologians in the twentieth century, distorts the immutability of God when he proposes. In the Great Commission (Matt. Jesus Christ commands the disciples to go into the world as ambassadors and ministers of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:18-20), that is, as prophets and priests of the King. Our obedient prayers are an integral part of the goals and the coming of the Kingdom of God.

Believers must commit to praying fervently, fervently, and joyfully in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Introduction of Ministry Project

Definition of Prayer and Evangelism

The second part of Seminar 2 began with a discussion of Leonard Ravenhill's shocking quote: "There is a suffocating indifference to the danger of judgment in the church." The purpose of this seminar was to provide Old Testament support for God's loving plan of salvation available to all mankind. We also discussed a study of Psalm 65:2 where King David declares that God hears the prayers of His people as they obediently strive to do His will (pp. 20-25).

Believers must be informed and constantly reminded that God hears their prayers and works through them to fulfill His desire that all be saved (1 Tim 2:4). 17 Ravenhill's blunt quote led to a spirited discussion that we who no longer face judgment must intercede for the salvation of those who still face God's righteous punishment for rejecting His Son. Then I read a two-page excerpt from Jonathan Edwards' Four-fold Voice of God in his sermon, "The Duty of Hearkening to God's Voice." The class was in awe of Edwards' insights into God's creative voice, His providential voice, His voice in the Word and His "voice by His Holy Spirit".18.

The Biblical Foundation for an Intercessory Prayer Ministry

She and I discussed the desperate need for a prayer service, but I knew that we needed to present the need for a prayer service to the church body in order to gain her full support. This sweet woman is retired and has been involved in prayer services at the Fall Church all her adult life; however, this was her first experience leading a prayer service at the local church level. The name "Prayer Center" was chosen as the name of the intercessory prayer service for two reasons.

First, the intercessors' desire to put prayer at the center of every ministry in the church. Second, the intercessors wanted one "central" place where church members can send all their prayer requests. Each Monday, the prayer coordinator collected all prayer requests that came into the office from the bulletin's prayer request card, church calls, and website,20 and then sent the updated prayer list to intercessors.

The past four months' emphasis on the necessity of intercessory prayer has drawn the congregation's attention that prayer is rightly at the forefront of everything we plan and try to do as a church body. We cannot achieve in the flesh for the Kingdom of God what we will achieve through prayer and trust in the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit.

The Sovereign and Supernatural Ways of God

Intercessory prayer puts believers on the front line of the battle, so we must be prepared and alert for the spiritual attack. The volunteers were reminded that we are all sinners forced to choose our own path, but because of God's foreboding love, humanity can be freed by the blood of Jesus to live in a way worthy of His name. Further, the regenerated community is God's witness to the world of His supreme love – sinful humanity drawn to God by the righteous liveliness and evangelical enthusiasm of His church.

The last study in the seminar was from the passage in Chapter 3 entitled "The Sovereignty of God and Prayer" (pp. 62-68). God's sovereignty is the basis for the trust and confidence believers have in His ability to hear and answer prayers. Although there is doubt on the part of man about God's sovereignty, the most authentic attributions of God's absolute sovereignty come from His Word.

The Apostle Paul’s Praxis of Intercessory Prayer and Evangelism

Third, when the intercessors pray for divine opportunities and protection of the evangelists, the Holy Spirit causes the gospel to shape and influence the lives of the intercessors, evangelists and lost. God gives opportunities and strengthens the effectiveness of evangelists when intercession is watchful, grateful, and earnest. Prayers of thanksgiving remind the believer of her experience with God, instilling confidence because of what Jesus has already done in it.

All people must be prayed for because it pleases God and He wants as many as possible to be saved. Furthermore, intercessors often become the workers in the harvest they faithfully prayed to come (Matt 9:38). The seminar ended with an assignment to read Matthew 28:18-20 and pray together at least once before the next seminar.

Alpha-Omega Prayer and Fulfillment of the Great Commission

We then discussed the excerpt entitled "Alpha-Omega Prayer" from the study in Chapter 3 (pp. 71-84). Participants were given an excerpt from Chapter 3 entitled “The Holy Ghost Begins with Prayer” (pp. 84-103).

The Holy Spirit Initiates Prayer in Believers

The exercise lasted almost an hour, but the passion of learning deeper spiritual truths about God strengthened the souls of the participants.

Prophetic and Priestly Roles in the Alpha-Omega Prayer

The volunteers asked to meet one more time to see the comparative results of the two intercessory surveys. In a disappointing turn, 67 percent believe the primary mission of the church is to care for the needs of its members (No. 17). The prayer ministry quickly gained great importance in the life of the church.

It was refreshing to hear the pathos in the group's voices as they heartily agreed: "We must pray for the lost!". Others recommended that we announce the beginning of that intercession so that those interested can participate. I used this question as a tool to fulfill the fourth goal of the project: to strengthen my intercessory skills for intercessors and evangelists.

Without a doubt, the project was ordained by God to take place during this period of the church's life. Thus, the scope of the project was specifically tailored to meet critical needs in the church. The second goal of the project was to teach believers the connection between intercessory prayer and evangelism.

The first power observed is the newfound awareness of the connection between prayer and evangelism. Another weakness of the project is in relation to finding and assigning a room to be. The denominator refers to the percentage of responses in the post-seminar administration of the Intersession Prayer Survey.

I believe that participating in an intercessory ministry will make me more aware of the unchurched and the lost.

Anyone who sincerely repents of his sin and calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. Earnest and watchful prayer is one of the means God uses to advance His Kingdom. While God wanted Israel and Judah to carry His loving plan of salvation to the ends of the world, Judah and Israel decided to feel comfortable where they were.

Abraham's covenant assured Israel that he will become the channel of blessing between the Lord and the nations of the world.35. Such an ever-widening circle of people to be accounted for as part of Yahweh's redemptive plan makes Zechariah one of the most. Zechariah's prophecy is "the most messianic, the most apocalyptic and eschatological of all the writings of the OT."57.

Evangelism is personal as we see the picture of ten men who come to one of God's people (Zech 8:23) to follow him in the way of the Lord. As the local church obeys the command to evangelize Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8), God's presence is manifested and He will supernaturally draw the lost to Him. The purpose for Israel as a missionary force originated in the universal scope of the message in Genesis 1-11 and more definitively in Genesis 12:3.

But it would reach its clearest definition in the "Servant of the Lord" passages in Isaiah 42 and. Finally, the church in Israel is grafted in by the person and work of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The church is a living community called to penetrate the nations of the world and evangelize with the gospel.

Then we pray it back to the Father in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the right it gives us to access the Father in prayer and thus complete the circle of prayer.
