Those elements are related to each other which determines the quality of reading comprehension of the reader.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research Design

Population and Sample

Purposive sampling technique, also known as judgmental, selective or subjective sampling, was a type of non-probability sampling technique.

Variable of the Research

Research Hypothesis

There was a significant difference between students' reading comprehension before and after using the Pre-Reading Plan technique in improving their reading comprehension in the tenth grade MA DDI Cambalagi.

Technique of Data Collection

Technique of Data Analysis

The result of data analysis can be seen through the result of pre-test and post-test. The data in Table 4.1 show 3 (three) indicators of success in students' reading comprehension. This chart could show the percentage improvement of the three pre-reading plan effectiveness indicators in students' reading comprehension.

The results of the students' reading comprehension through the Pre-Reading Plan technique are shown in Table 4.2 below. It means that the average score of the student's posttest was higher than the average score of the student's pretest. It was known that there is a significant difference between the score of the student who is taught using reading activities.

This was proven by the average score of the student post-test (8.55) in experimental group (using pre-questionnaire). From the four previous research findings above, the researcher would like to compare the result that the researcher found from the observation in improving reading comprehension by using Pre Reading Plan technique. But before calculating the t-test of the student, the researcher found the mean score of the student.

The student's posttest score was higher than the average student's pretest score. Post-test students' reading comprehension score using SPSS post-test descriptive statistics. AVERAGE STUDENT TEST RESULT 1. Average pre-test and post-test score.

The main idea of the above story is Once upon a time, there was a girl named Cinderella. Remember you have to get the big pumpkin, “the stepmother asked Bawangmerah to do exactly the same as Bawangputih's experience. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

Findings

Discussion

In this part, the discussion covers the interpretation of the research findings derived from the result of students' reading comprehension. Using Pre-Reading Plan technique can also make the student enjoy reading a reading material because the student was trained to activate their prior knowledge about the topic which was given from the researcher. So that the students can easily understand the content of the material and easily answer the question from the teacher.

Therefore, using the pre-reading plan as a technique can enrich students' reading comprehension. Therefore, the effectiveness of the Prereading Plan can improve the main idea of students' decision making in reading comprehension. Therefore, the effectiveness of the Prereading Plan as a technique can improve students' decision-making support in reading comprehension.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTIONS

Conclusion

It was proven that the score obtained by the student in the pre-test was 5.7 and in the post-test it was 7.0. This means that there was a progress score after the students received treatment via the pre-reading technique. The students who receive lessons using the reading activity score higher than the students without lessons. Meanwhile, Nurman (2015:43) found that using the Pre-Reading Plan strategy can improve the tenth grade student's literal reading comprehension and that this technique can also lead to activity in the learning process, especially in reading.

Nurfitriani (2013: 42) concludes in her research into the Effect of Pre-Questioning on the Reading Compplehension Achievement that reading the students reading comprehension with the help of pre-questioning was classified as very well. From the above explanation it can be concluded that students can improve the use of reading techniques when learning reading comprehension. When teaching in reading comprehension, the teacher must make the students interested in reading English material.

After the score was calculated, the researcher found that the students' decision of the main idea improved 16.7% from the average score of 81.9 on the pre-test to 95.6 on the post-test. After calculating the score, the research found that the students' decisive supporting idea improved 43.7% from the average score of 57.1 on the pre-test to 82.1 on the post-test. After the score was calculated, the researcher found that the students' decision improved 41.6% from the average score of 23.1 on pre-test to 32.7 on post-test.

Based on the results of the discussion, the researcher concludes that teaching reading through the Pre-Reading Plan technique is effective in improving students' reading comprehension. Using this technique, students became easy and enjoyed reading a reading material. It was proved by the score that they got in pre-test was 53.8 and in post test was 69.9.
