DENTAL DIGGINGS AND BALCONY BULGING S

From all appearances, the Dental School is being "dug up", but from the official word, it is just being "dug under". As originally reported in the July 9th issue, we are going under- ground for space to provide several new research laboratories, sorely need- ed for expanding programs. It is hoped that room for areas for electron micro- scopy and radioisotope studies will be included. In the meantime, inconven- iences will be experienced, but such is the price of progress. The greatest inconvenience the contractor's entourage poses would seem to be that of an ob-

stacle to that sustainer of everyman's and woman's daily worklife, coffee.

Daunted but not to be defeated, new paths to Bea's are being trod.

Even greater inconvenience will be felt when the expansion of the balcony in the Main Clinic begins in the middle of November. Simultaneous construction operations and patient treatment will be unavoidable, so tolerance and patience will be in order. The contractor as-

sures us the job will be finished by mid-January, and your cooperation in the meantime is solicited to aid the progress of the operation.
