LIST OF TABLES
Research Background
In a formal educational setting, the teaching and learning process generally took place face-to-face in the classroom. Based on a semi-structured interview with an English teacher conducted by the researcher during a preliminary study in the tenth grade of MAN 3 Jembrana, the English teacher confirmed that the teaching and learning process takes place online.
Research Question
Based on the above statements, the researcher is interested in exploring the experiences of students in the tenth grade of MAN 3 Jembrana in learning English subjects through E-Learning. By knowing the experiences of the students, the teacher can better understand the students such as the characteristics of the students, the needs of the students and the problems in the teaching and learning process.
Research Objective
Significance of the Research
Then, teachers can know what to do to solve EFL learners' online learning difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. Especially in conducting research related to EFL learners' experiences of English subjects using e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Scope of the Research
Finally, the teaching and learning process and efficiency of online learning can be improved. This research can be used as a reference in conducting further research to help further researchers do better research.
Definition of Key Terms
It is one of the learning models that were facilitated during the Covid-19 situation with the help of the use of technology, communication and information. Web pages, as one of the menu options in E-learning, can help teachers teach English.

Location of the Research
Subject of Research
In this research approach, the researcher must have a reason why the phenomenon occurs and what the EFL learners look like.
The Technique of Collecting Data
A semi-structured interview (in-depth interview) was an interview that was more free than a structured interview. The purpose of this interview was to find the problems openly, as the interviewee was asked about their opinions and ivdeas.48 The researcher chose this type of interview because it was very flexible; despite having drafted the question, the researcher was able to add the second necessary question during the interview. The interview used the semi-structured interview to explore the EFL learners' experiences of using e-learning in English subjects.
The EFL learners conducted the interview using WhatsApp video calls and the responses were collected and transcribed by the researcher. The semi-structured interview survey was validated using content validity and it was validated by three experts from UIN KHAS K.H. The data obtained from the interview were presented in form tables to determine the EFL learners' experiences of using e-learning in English subjects.
The researcher used document review to collect data such as student attendance list, school profile information which included school background, school vision and mission, English curriculum, lesson plans, photographs and field notes.
The Technique of Data Analysis
In this research, the researcher has given the result of the analysis based on the statement of experiences, then concluded after presenting the data and analyzing the data.
Validity of Data
Procedures of Research
This is the stage where it is decided what needs to be done before a researcher enters the field of the research object. After getting the license, the researcher enters the research object and collects the data with observation, interview and document review to get information about EFL learners' experiences of using e-learning in English subject. After receiving the data, the next step is to analyze the data, which includes data condensation, data visualization, and drawing conclusions or verification. Next, the final step is to create a research report.
In this chapter the researcher presents two things, research findings, data analysis and also discussions about the result of data analysis. In research findings, after collecting data from 10th grade EFL learners of MAN 3 Jembrana, the researcher analyzed their experiences of using e-learning in English subjects. In the discussion section, the researcher discusses the findings of the study and relates them to some previous research.

Research Findings and Data Analysis
- What are EFL Learners’ experiences toward the use of e-learning in English subjects?
 - The EFL learners’ motivations towards using e-learning in English subjects

Based on the above statement, we can know that most EFL learners learn English using e-learning as a new experience for them. Most EFL learners agree that using e-learning in the learning process is really beneficial in this situation. From the explanation above, it can be seen that EFL learners try to make e-learning easy to use.
Based on the interview and observation above, it can be concluded that most of the EFL student participants in tenth grade of MAN 3 Jembrana used E-learning and WhatsApp. Based on the above statement, it can be known that most of the EFL learners faced problems with internet connection and signal and this caused them to interrupt in doing the task. The EFL students also found it difficult to submit their assignments in e-learning because of the unstable signal.
EFL learners had difficulty submitting their assignments in e-learning because of the unstable signal. Most of the EFL learner participants agreed that they were highly motivated in online learning. The researcher found that EFL learners are still willing to learn even in this situation.
Based on the interview and observation above, it can be concluded that EFL learners' motivation during online learning is influenced by intrinsic motivational factors. Based on the interview and observation above, it can be concluded that EFL learners' motivation during online learning is influenced by extrinsic motivational factors.
Discussion on the Result of Data Analysis
- The EFL Learners’ experiences toward using E-Learning in English Subject for the tenth grade at MAN 3 Jembrana
 - What are the EFL Learners’ motivations toward using E-learning in English Subject for the tenth grade at MAN 3 Jembrana

The researcher found that autonomous learning in online learning is an experience mentioned by the EFL students. The EFL learners also confirmed that they often seek additional information regardless of English lessons to help them better understand. The researcher found that EFL learners in asynchronous e-learning in English faced some challenges in learning using e-learning.
The materials are provided by their English teacher who expects EFL students to learn at their own pace. What are EFL learners' motivations for using e-learning in English Tenth grade subject at MAN 3 Jembrana. EFL learners' motivations for using e-learning in English subject in 10th grade MAN 3 Jembrana are divided into two categories, 1) intrinsic motivation, 2) extrinsic motivation.
The researcher found that intrinsic motivation influenced English language learners' experiences of using e-learning in English subjects. The researcher found that extrinsic motivation influenced EFL learners' experiences of using e-learning in English subjects. Some of the English language learner participants agreed that they were extrinsically motivated in their online learning.
Conclusion
In this chapter, the researcher presents the conclusion of the research and suggestions for English teachers, students and further researchers who are interested in similar research. EFL learners found that there are several challenges to implementing an e-learning system in an educational institution. Their online learning was driven by 1) their ambition, belief or dream to learn and gain new knowledge, and (2) enjoyment in experiencing new learning methods.
Their online learning was driven by their environmental conditions, namely appropriate support facilities, and they always attended online classes to avoid compensating for absence.
