THROUGH CHEMISTRY
It was thought that the Chapter would have to incorporate, but after further study it was learned that a trust agreement would solve the problem. The Chapter accepted this offer and began a program to raise money to purchase land for a demonstration plot. The management of the program is in the hands of a committee known as the Chapter Grounds Committee, which is appointed each year by the chapter president.
With this type of program, the 10 acres will benefit not only the FFA and vo-ag classes, but the entire community.

Commercial forest owners are looking with great interest at the forest fertilization work being done both in this country and abroad. Takeo Shibamoto, Professor of Forestry at the University of Tokyo, says: "Following the kind of management that has been customary so far, the average growth will undoubtedly be repeated. Fertilizer application to forests will probably be done by airplane in the States. United.

Charles won top honors in competition with Star Farmers from each of the other 11 states in the region. The regional honor was presented to Charles on September 14, at the Governors' Reception Program at the opening of the 36th Annual Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Mass.
