What a thrill it was to meet the agricultural finance officer of our local bank when he was named an outstanding young businessman and remember him as president of the. What a challenge it is to have twenty-year-old farmers attend your adult farming class – the experienced and the relatively inexperienced exchange ideas and perspectives on the needs of our community and how our classes can best meet those needs as we plan ahead. One of the country's top architectural firms submitted this design as a meaningful passage into the FFA's past, while at the same time presenting an ideal to guide its future.
Other educational or agricultural organizations using FFA's conference facilities will be made aware of FFA's dynamic role in agricultural education in the United States. By plane, the capital is less than two hours away from 75 percent of the country's population. After reading this, look again at the color photo and sketch of the center and you will conclude that no other facility will make it on this long journey to FFA's past, present and future.
