This Media Converter is 10/100/1000Mbps fast Ethernet converter. The converter mediates between a 10/100/1000Base-TX segment and a 1000Base-FX segment. It is primarily designed for large, higher speed/bandwidth demanding work groups that require expansion of the Ethernet network. It can extend the conventional 10/100M Ethernet or 1000M Ethernet from 275 m up to 20 km via the Fiber-optical Line (depends on the device). It is high performance, cost effective and flexible solutions for a wide range of applications in the field of LAN campus network.

10/100/1000M Media Converter with external power supply series is 10/100/1000M auto- negotiation Ethernet fiber optic media converter, supporting the 10/100/1000BASE-TX twisted- pair electrical signal and the 1000BASE-FX light signal interconversion. It expands the network transmitting range limit from the copper wire 100 meters to 20 kilometers (single mode optical fiber), and can easily realize the link between HUB, SWITCH, the server, the terminal and long- distance terminal. It can also be mounted in the 14 slots media converter chassis with centralized power supply.

The 14-Slot Rackmount Chassis is specially designed for accommodating chassis-based Media Converters. It is a standard 19-inch 2U height rackmount chassis which can be suitably mounted in the standard 19-inch rack.The chassis lets you install max 14 media converters in an equipment rack together with the other network devices. This provides space saving. The chassis comes with AC to DC power supply. As an optional, redundant power supply is available.
