The researcher found errors of malformation in the use of transitional phrases. a) Mis-formation punctuation "colon" it should be "comma" after transitional phrases "for example".

In the use of sentence compounds, there were four types of errors, namely: omission, addition, malformation, and mis-ordering. There were four error categories in clause conjunctions, namely: omission, addition, malformation and disorder.
After presenting the error in transition signal in the use of sentence connectors and clause connectors and types of errors, the researcher found categories of errors from data collected. To analyze the errors, the researcher identified all errors made by the students in the use of sentence connectors (transitional phrases and conjunctive adverb) and subordinate clause connectors (coordinating conjunction and subordinating conjunction). In sentence connectors, the highest frequency of the students' error was omission which was 10 errors, this happened where the absence of an item that should appear in a well-formed utterance.
In addition, the frequency of student errors was 13 errors. This happened in the presence of an item that should not appear in a well-formed expression. The lowest frequency of errors among the students was an incorrect ordering, namely 7. This occurred with the incorrect placement of a morpheme or a group of morphemes in an utterance. The lowest frequency of the students' errors was the order of error, which was 2. This occurred with the incorrect placement of a morpheme or group of morphemes in an utterance.

This is very worrying because as we know trees are one of the barriers to flash floods.
