Dengan Judul: "The Effectiveness of Using the Suggestopedic Method to Increase Students' Reading Comprehension in Junior High School English Teaching". 2021. The effectiveness of using the suggestopedic method to increase students' reading comprehension in junior high school English learning. This research aimed to find out the increase in students' reading comprehension through the Suggestopedia Method that focused on the main idea and supporting details in the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pangkajene.

The researcher applied the Pre-Experimental Method with Post-Test Design One Group Pretest, and collected the data by giving pre-test, treatment and Post-test. Based on the above result, it can be concluded that the reading comprehension of the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 2 Pangkajene was increased by using the Suggestopedia method of narrative text with an online learning process. It was concluded that using the Suggestopedia Method in reading comprehension can increase students' reading comprehension of Narrative Text in main idea and supporting details.

Lozanov created this method in the hope that students would enjoy learning, especially in learning foreign languages. This method is suitable to be used to help students understand a certain context, such as stories about stories, certain events, and others depending on the teacher's creation. Based on the above problem, it is necessary to apply the Suggestopedia method in teaching and learning English especially in reading.

One of the techniques that can be used in teaching and learning reading is " THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING SUGGESTOPEDIA METHOD TO INCREASE STUDENTS' READING COMPREHENSION IN LEARNING ENGLISH IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. How is the effectiveness of using Suggestopedia method to increase students' main idea about reading comprehension in learning junior high school English How is the effectiveness of using Suggestopedia method to increase students' supporting details about reading comprehension in learning.

To find out the effectiveness of using suggestopedia method to increase the students' supporting detail of reading comprehension in learning English at Junior High School. For the students, this research gives them a way to learn English especially for reading comprehension.

According to her research, the use of round table technique can improve students' literal reading comprehension in the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 3 Bungoro in terms of main idea and improve students' literal reading comprehension in terms of supporting details. In this research, it is different from the above thesis, students will not be bored in class because suggestopedia is a fun method. Next, this research focuses on the main ideas and supporting details through experimental research approaches, so the researcher needs one class.

Some Pertinent Ideas 7

Students read the text to gain what they read in each paragraph such as why the topic is interesting, what is the problem in the text, how is the content and make a summary from the text. Students read a text to get the structure of each paragraph so that we know how to solve the problem of each story and what happens in each part of each episode of the story. Students read a text to infer action or ideas in the text.

Students read the text or paragraph to get some information from the author in the paragraph. The teacher should prepare a lesson plan on what topic will be discussed in the learning process. Main ideas can be in the form of complete sentences, which contain part of the topic of conversation.

In the learning process, the teacher should create the classroom if the fun from the classroom setup provides positive mindset of the students. On the other hand, playing a simple musical instrument with low volume to support students' comfort in the learning process.

Then the teacher invites the students to read a narrative text and use their imagination about the material in question. Then the teacher can ask them a question about what the text is about (the main idea and supporting details).

It means that the average score of the student's post-test is higher than the average score of the student's pre-test.

Classification frequency The rate percentage of students' scores relative to the main idea and supporting details. 1 student response contains at least 2 key details from the passage that support the main idea of ​​the passage.
