The effectiveness of using the suggestopedic method to increase students' reading comprehension in junior high school English learning. This research aimed to find out the increase in students' reading comprehension through the Suggestopedia Method that focused on the main idea and supporting details in the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pangkajene.
The researcher applied the Pre-Experimental Method with Post-Test Design One Group Pretest, and collected the data by giving pre-test, treatment and Post-test. Based on the above result, it can be concluded that the reading comprehension of the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 2 Pangkajene was increased by using the Suggestopedia method of narrative text with an online learning process. It was concluded that using the Suggestopedia Method in reading comprehension can increase students' reading comprehension of Narrative Text in main idea and supporting details.
