The impact of full-day school on students' academic development (led by Nur Qalbi and Saiful). The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of a full-day school program on student learning in the academic development of students. The method of this study used descriptive qualitative research because this study aimed to clarify and control the symptom of how much the full-day school program affects the academic development of students.
One of the supporting factors of the full-day school system is the renewal of the curriculum implemented in schools, namely the 2013 curriculum based on character and competence that requires students to be active in learning so that it will produce positive results to students' achievement. The research findings indicated that implementation of full-day school system has an influence on students' academic improvement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program Full Day School terhadap pembelajaran siswa ditinjau dari peningkatan akademik siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, karena penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan dan mengontrol gejala, seberapa besar pengaruh program Full Day School terhadap kemajuan akademik siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem full day school memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemajuan akademik siswa.
Sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa sistem ini erat kaitannya dengan penerapan Kurikulum 2013, dimana ada beberapa aspek penting yang menjadi tujuan dari sistem full day school.

According to Baharuddin (2014:15), a full-day school program has various advantages, including: Children receive general education, to anticipate the development of science, children receive anticipatory personality education about socio-cultural developments characterized by the rapid technology due to modernization and globalization, channeling children's potential through non-academic activities in schools, in addition to the development of talents, interests and intelligence expected in school through the supervision of counseling programs and non-academic areas, not only negative influence outside the school can be reduced as possible due to children's education in the school longer, then the students get professional teaching staff in their respective fields and the students also get attention especially in religious matters such as memorizing the recitation of the Quran and worshiping on time. According to Muslihin, Al Hafizh says that the full-day school is viewed from the institutional, managerial and managerial aspects, referring to the concept that promotes moral and non-academic and academic achievements. This policy applies to the new school year 2017/2018, in various major cities in Indonesia, one of the islands of Sulawesi has implemented this program in South Sulawesi, especially for the city of Makassar, many schools have implemented this program even before the program was announced, many private schools have implemented the program since the establishment of the school, one of which was SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 UNISMUH MAKASSAR.
Therefore, researchers are interested in reviewing "The Influences of Full Day School Programs on Students' Academic Development". Based on the above problem, the problem formulation in this study is "What is the influence of the full-day school program on the students". Based on the problem that arises, the purpose of this study is to find out the impact of the full-day school program on student learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 1Unismuh Makassar.
The results of this study are expected to provide a contribution of information and reference material benefits for future researchers and various parties related to the full-day school program in an effort to increase knowledge. This research is limited to the effects of the full-day school system at SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 UNISMUH MAKASSAR, focusing on the students.

Documentation methods are used to unearth information about the implementation of the program, school conditions, student learning outcomes and student responses. In this case, the researcher used questionnaires and Interview to determine the effect of Full Day School on students' academic learning.

Data reduction is a sensitive thinking process that requires intelligence and a breadth and depth of insight. For researchers new to data reduction, they can talk to friends or others who are considered experts when performing data reduction. Thus, the reduced data will give a clearer picture and make it easier for researchers to further collect data and find it when needed.
Displaying data in qualitative research will be done in the form of a brief description, graph, relationships between categories, flow diagram and so on. Miles and Hubermanstate the most common form of display for qualitative data was narrative text. In addition to being in the form of a narrative, the data display can also be a graph, matrix, network(s).
The initial conclusions put forward are still tentative and will change if strong evidence is not found to support the next phase of data collection. Findings can be in the form of a description or description of an object that was previously unclear so that it becomes clear upon investigation, it can be a causal or interactive relationship, a hypothesis or a theory.
