In this research, the researcher will use the triangulation technique to examine data on the role of Language Enhancement Staff (LIS) at Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School. The researcher is writing a research report in the form of a thesis on the role of Language Improvement Staff (LIS) who teach speaking skills at Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School.

Initially, the Language Department at Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School was not named the Language Enhancement Staff (LIS). With the development of time, this language section was renamed the Section of the Language Movement (LMŠ), the number of LMS members increased by around a dozen people at that time. In the next year until now, the number of members of the Language Improvement Staff (LIS) is around 40 members due to the large number of students.
