The primary aim of this research is to know whether using the Dictogloss method can improve the listening comprehension of the students, to improve and refine the students' use of the language through a comprehensive analysis of language options in the correcting the students' estimated texts. The researcher discovered the problem that the students are not interested in listening to the topic and struggle to understand the audio, identify the topic and main idea of ​​the text. The conclusion of this research is that the Dictogloss method can improve the listening comprehension of the students in the eleventh grade of Ma Walisongo Sukajadi Bumi Ratu Nuban Central Lampung, especially the students' interest in listening.

This means that the use of increasing students' listening comprehension by using the Dictogloss method on eleventh grade in Ma Walisongo Sukajadi Bumi Ratu Nuban Central Lampung. Background of study

If students' knowledge of English is weak, it will affect their achievement especially in listening ability. Based on the above result, there is an evidence that most of the students have low scores in listening comprehension. This means that the listening comprehension of students in the eleventh grade B of MA Walisongo Sukajadi Bumi Ratu Nuban Central Lampung is still low because many students get the score less than 75.

This method can hopefully make students more motivated to learn and understand listening. Based on the description above, the researcher would like to conduct a research titled Increasing students' listening comprehension using dictogloss method in the eleventh grade of Ma Walisongo Sukajadi Bumi Ratu Nuban Central Lampung.

The listening teacher can ask students to write down key words to develop the main points of the text. While listening to a spoken version of the text, they fill in the missing parts of the written text. Sections can be one sentence long or longer, depending on the difficulty of the text relative to the student's skill level.

Reconstruction, when students work in small groups to reconstruct a version of a text from their shared sources. Preparation, when the student is familiar with the topic of the text and is ready for some vocabulary.

Action Hyphothesis

The independent variable is the one that is believed to be causing the results and the dependent variable is the one that measures to see the effects the independent variable has on it. The Dictogloss method introduces an effective way for the students to understand during the listening lesson. The Dictogloss method gives the students the chance to practice how to properly understand the audio.

Action Plan

The researcher asks the students to form some groups of students in the learning process. It is used to record some activities in the process of learning listening comprehension of the Dictogloss method. Students are given a pre-test to familiarize themselves with early learners' abilities before the treatment, and a post-test using the Dictogloss method to determine students' listening comprehension abilities.

The collaborator observes the students' activities, in this research the researcher acts as a teacher who implemented the sound in treatment. The first step that will be done in this reflection is the analysis of the amounts of data, the researcher will evaluate the score of each one.

Data Collection Method

Documentation is a way of using a written source, such as private documents (such as journals, diaries, e-books, and emails) and public documents (such as newspapers, magazines, and official reports). In this study, the researcher took the data of the school such as the history of the school, the total of the teacher, the total of the students and the condition of the school. To collect the data more accurately, the researcher used the field note to make analyzing the data easier.

Data Analysis Method

If from Cycle I, there are some students who are not successful, so we complete Cycle II. So, if all the students in cycle II are successful, it does not continue to the second cycle.

Description Of Finding

From the above data, it can be seen that the score for the students' reading comprehension was different. From the pretest result, the researcher obtained the average of 56.20. So the result was unsatisfactory. In the planning phase, the researcher and the collaborator prepared several things for the teaching and learning process, such as: prepared the lesson plan and the material, made the instrument to be examined as pre-test and post-test in cycle 1, prepared a material, made an observation sheet of the students' activity, identified the problem, found the causes of the problem at the first and end of the learning activities.

The researcher also planned to give evaluation to measure the students' mastery on the given material. At this stage, the researcher started to introduce the method that will be used in the learning process, then the researcher dictates students through audio before they answer the questions, the audio without title "cars should be banned in cities" and will three repeated times. After the student has finished the test, the researcher and student answer reconstruction together to identify what is difficult about the test.

At this stage, the researcher continued the material in the last meeting and gives the audio to discuss again. And then, after the material is finished, the researcher asks the students "any questions so far from the last material yesterday?". The students' test score in the post-test was better than the test in the pre-test before.

The table above is the result of post-test 1, it can be seen that the score of the students' listening skills was different. There were some observations such as: observation of the activities of the students, notes of teachers and observation of the result of the evaluation. At the end of cycle 1, the result showed that the students' activities increase from the first meeting to the next meeting.

Based on the table, it can be concluded that there was an increase in students' learning activities during the study time by using the Dictogloss method, which increased the students' listening comprehension in descriptive text. This cycle also showed that the average score in the pre-test of the students was 56.20. Meanwhile, the average of the score in post-test 1 of the students was 69.31. This showed that there was a significant effect between pre-test and post-test in this cycle. D.

The above table is the result of post-test 2, it can be seen that the score for the students' listening comprehension was different. In addition, this cycle also showed that the average score in post-test 1 of the students was 69.31. Most of the students enjoyed when studying through the Dictogloss method and it also made the students well interested in listening English comprehension which is in the beginning before the treatment made the students feel confused.

The test aims to know the ability of students before and after a treatment. Based on the results of the pre-test, after test 1 and after test 2, it can be concluded that there was an increase in students. It means that the Dictogloss Method has a positive effect on the teaching and learning process, especially in increasing students' listening comprehension in descriptive text.

The result of the students' learning activity can be seen in this table below. Based on the table above, it can be concluded that there was an increase in the learning activity of the students during the study period, which came through the Dictogloss Method in increasing the listening comprehension of the descriptive text by the students. Also, the result of the observation sheet in cycle 2 is 81.7%. This means that the Dictogloss Method has a positive effect on the teaching and learning process, especially on the growth of students.
