Effect of hydrogen peroxide Concentration in modified petroleum-contaminated soil by using Fenton chemistry reaction

Abstract
Thread refined petroleum contaminated soils due to the nature of the Iran,s oil is important.
Ways to removal petroleum pollution of soil has been presented already. This study is refined petroleum contaminated soils using different concentrations of hydrogen peroxide in the Fenton oxidation. For this purpose a calcareous soil samples around Tehran Oil Refinery removed then prepared with two levels of 10 and 20 percent crude oil were infected in triplicate. After reaching equilibrium conditions using Fenton chemistry and the 0/5, 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 wt% concentration of hydrogen peroxide were treated. The results showed that the concentrations of hydrogen peroxide treatment, 10% higher than the pollution removal treatment is 20 percent. Also was a significant difference between the levels of hydrogen peroxide used in the removal oil pollution in both surface contamination (P<0.01).
