We have different experiences throughout our lives. These experiences and commonalities affect our subconscious minds and shape our metaphorical language.

In terms of cognition, the metaphors we use are rooted in the experiences we get from our surroundings. These experiences vary from place to place, from culture to culture.

This means that conceptual metaphors are more culturally and locally than universal.

That is why some concepts differ significantly among different nations.

This theory was first put forward by Lakoff and Johnson by publishing the book "The Metaphors That We Live with". According to this book, cognitive metaphor involves metaphorical "structural, orientational, and ontological". In the present research, we tried to examine the metaphors of animals in accordance with the cognitive metaphor and its ontological type, and the "inferential pattern, the domain of source or sensory, multiplicative generalization, general mapping and partial mapping in Each partitioning is the next step in this research. Then, in a table, the frequency of destination domains and their semantic generalizations and finally the analysis of the data are discussed.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the way of understanding the mystical experiences and the high moral and moral ideas of Rumi through the use of animal metaphors.

Methodology: In this research, using the library resources and descriptive-analytical method, we have studied the samples. In this research, with the criterion of putting the theory of metaphorical cognition, we extracted metamorphic prototypes of animals from Rumi's sonnets, and examined the scope of objectivity with the help of animal origin areas.

Conclusion: Based on the application of each animal metaphor, Rumi is influenced by the cognitive and experimental experiences of the animal; these experiences, both by observing and touching the subject, are closely related to the familiarity with The customs and beliefs of different ethnic groups have been gained. The culture and beliefs of the Persian, Indians and Arabs, and at the top of them, the concepts and views contained in the Qur'an and Hadith are the major part of this influence. She has used her thoughts on every occasion. The use of public knowledge about animals in order to objectify abstract concepts is also an action in this regard. His remarkable variation in the use of different destination areas for the same field of origin reflects the modern spirit and his diverse personal experiences. This variation, which is seen in some way in the metropolitan areas of destination, suggests that Rumi does not intend to use a metaphor for limited concepts, so if there is apparently no relationship between the two domains He discovers a relationship.

Regarding the appropriateness of the origin and destination domains in Rumi's metaphors, it should be noted that there is a balance between these two domains, but it is noteworthy that sometimes Rumi uses a positive concept from the negative domain and vice versa. As mentioned, the important point in this regard of metaphors is that Mowlana discovers unknown connections between the two domains. Perhaps this is

why some of his metaphors have not been repeated in the Divan before and after his life.

According to the frequencies of each source region, the milk metaphor with 420 specimens, Donkey with 223 specimens, fish with 190 specimens, a camel with 157 specimens, a dog with 147 specimens, a nightingale with 144 specimens, an open specimen with 117 specimens, and a deer with 108 specimens 92 samples were taken with 92 samples, and the horse, with 91 samples, is considered to be the most important source of origin in Rumi's application.
