Knowing how to upload and download files, send emails, and submit assignments is one of the minimum expectations for online learning; therefore, it is your responsibility to prepare for these kinds of learning experiences. Online learning is a collaborative environment, expect to be asked to collaborate with your colleagues at times. Group work can provide support and feedback for online learning and is an integral part of success.
Violations such as sharing quiz information, plagiarism, sharing account information and grades will be subject to disciplinary action. The email address encoded in the user profile must be an active student email account, regardless of the account provider (eg Gmail, Yahoomail, etc.). These materials should be made available to the students before the start of the semester. Attendance is based on the students' actual presence in the subject teacher's chosen online meeting platform. Students are asked to turn on their video camera during the synchronous teaching.
The faculty head or subject teacher must communicate the application to be used to guardians and students at least one (1) day before the exam schedule. Students' attendance will be checked within the first 20 minutes of the exam. The invigilator will remind students to record their Attendance for the exam during the first 15 minutes of the preparation period.
The proctor must inform the students that when they have finished the exam, they must post "Completed" in the chat on the online meeting platform. Note: The students are no longer allowed to go to the lounge during the entire duration of the exam. The proctor must be aware of any suspicious behavior and sound throughout the duration of the examination.
Furthermore, the proctor must report this to the responsible faculty in order to check the student's status for the exam. The proctor must continuously remind the students of the remaining time to complete the exam. The students must access the online meeting platform for virtual proctoring 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
The students will complete the Exam Presence during the first 15 minutes of the preparation period. Students must remain within the primary device's video camera's field of view. The students must ensure that the secondary device has a visible view of the exam page screen.
COLLEGE OF ALLIED SCIENCES
Main examinations of all subjects, both core/professional and general education subjects, are conducted in classrooms. Long quizzes and other activities that require the physical participation of students are conducted face-to-face. Some activities are carried out in person and are determined by subject professors.
Major exams of all courses, both core and professional lab classes will be conducted inside the classrooms. Blended learning approach will be used and activities will be carried out face to face, and those activities will be determined by the subject professors. Lecture handouts, PowerPoint presentation, podcast-style recordings and/or pre-recorded videos will be posted on the institution's LMS site.
Live online sessions will be held every class schedule via Cisco Webex Education and other online platforms.
