RENTAL OF COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT FOR THE 23rd WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM ON EAST ASIA

This Bid Bulletin No. 1 is issued to clarify items in the Bid Documents. This shall form an integral part of the Bid Documents.
REFERENCE AMENDMENTS/CHANGES/
CLARIFICATIONS This has reference to the Queries by
CONTEL COMMUNICATIONS,INC. dated February 7, 2014:
1. Rental Period of the communication equipment
The rental period of the communication equipment is good for one month(May 1 to May 31, 2014)
2. Frequency Band of 380 Mhz stated in the Technical Bid is limiting other service provider to provide the service
The Frequency Range of 350-390 Mhz stated in Section VI Schedule of
Requirements (page 61) is the range requirement of the End-User.
3. If the Contract Agreement should be submitted together with the Bid, the Form is part of the Bid Document. There is a statement “Rental of Communication Equipment of the Department of Finance covering the dates from January to December 2014.”
There is no need to attach the Contract Agreement form to Bid Proposal. As to the second sentence, the period is one month (May 1 to May 31, 2014)
4. No need to install a repeater at the Department of Finance Building and Shangri-la Hotel in Makati
The Schedule of Requirements of the Bid document indicates that delivery site of the Repeater System would be Department of Finance/Shangri-la Hotel. If you have already installed a repeater system along these sites, that can be acceptable as long as the system can serve the intended coverage area, i.e.the entire Metro Manila.
