Regent Guillermo seconded the proposal by Regent Farolan to include a clause in the resolution affirming the Board of Regents' commitment to maintaining the health of the trees around the campus and replanting and preserving the green spaces of the UP campuses. Regarding aggressive recruiting activities to identify potential outstanding athletes from around the country and outside the country, Dean Diaz said it is the responsibility of the coaches of the varsity teams to recruit players to their respective teams. Right now, it is precisely through the individual diligence of the coaches and the good support from the alumni that CHK was able to tap good players to join the VAAS programme.
