Therefore, both the companies studied in Malaysia are largest local OEM and largest local car manufacturer in Malaysia, so it is profitable for them to have full authority in all stages of their production systems. Use of tools and techniques in every stage of QE at Malaysia automotive industry is also more diverse than the Indonesia automotive industry. Malaysia automotive industries have conducted their own new product development process. It can be concluded that the Malaysia automotive industry is more independent than Indonesia automotive industry. Malaysia automotive industry is not a shadow of the mother company as in the case of Indonesia automotive industry. Top management in Indonesia automotive companies always encourage their employees to participate in the QCC and provide financial and non-financial rewards to employees. While top management in Malaysia automotive industries provide less encouragement to their employees to participate in QCC. They do provide financial reward to its employees for suggestions proposed by the employee. There is a more active contribution from team members on the activities and conventions between the QCC in Indonesia than the companies studied in Malaysia. Results from case studies also indicate that Indonesian companies are better on several critical factors such as the support and commitment from top management, a high response from employees and behaviours of team members in continuous improvement. Therefore it can be said that the QCC provides a positive impact on increasing employee involvement in continuous quality improvement.

the Australian 1995 WIRS and employing an exact same model specification, we studied the relationship between employee involvement and firm performance within three workplace types: those engaged in union bargaining at the workplace level (assumed to be distributive); those engaged in non-union workplace level bargaining (assumed to be non-distributive); and those workplaces covered by a workplace agreement or award which was negotiated beyond the workplace. A key prediction arising from Addison et al.’s modification to Freeman-Lazear’s model is that a partial decoupling of production and distribution would lead to the selection of employee involvement levels closer to the social optimum level (x*), thus maximising firm performance. The findings in this paper contrast markedly with those uncovered by Addison et al. using data from the 1990 British WIRS. While some support is found for the Freeman-Lazear model when estimated using British data, the Australian empirical exercise suggests little evidence of an association or link between employee involvement and firm performance irrespective of the form and level of wage negotiations. While the disparities between the studies may reflect data limitations and problems associated with measuring and capturing firm heterogeneity, the lack of consistency casts doubt on the robustness of the empirical model used to operationalise the Freeman-Lazear theoretical model.

Skala emp loyee engagement disusun dengan menggunakan metode skala Likert. Semakin tinggi skor employee engagement maka semakin tinggi kecenderungan engagement pada karyawan, sebaliknya semakin rendah skor employee engagement maka semakin rendah kecenderungan engagament pada karyawan.

Father involvement ayah dengan anak remaja maupun ayah dengan anak middle childhood juga dapat ditelaah melalui ketiga komponen tersebut. Bila ayah menampilkan positive engagement pada remaja, ayah berkomunikasi dengan remaja seputar masa depannya maupun berdiskusi tentang berbagai isu dengan remaja seperti mendiskusikan dengan remaja tentang bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba maupun berhubungan seksual di luar nikah. Ayah melakukan kegiatan yang diminati remaja bersama-sama serta ayah mendukung pendidikan remaja seperti ayah mendorong remaja untuk melanjutkan studi ke tingkatan yang lebih tinggi maupun ayah mendukung anak untuk meneruskan studi pada jurusan yang ia minati.

“Parent Involvement Progam for Teacher” adalah sebuah progam dengan pendekatan keluarga sebagai bagian dari sistem pendidikan terhadap anak. Pengajar dan Orang tua memiliki peran yang sangat besar dalam pendidikan anak melalui komunikasi. Kunci dari komunikasi adalah kesadaran dan sensitivitas. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah memberikan sebuah pemahaman akan pemberdayaan orang tua sebagai asset dalam mendorong edukasi pada anak melalui peran dari pengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data. Pengajar selain sebagai seorang yang mengajarkan dituntut untuk dapat memberdayakan orang tua sebagai salah satu dalam “golden rule” pendidikan anak. Pengajar dituntun untuk menghadapi berbagai macam keluarga melalui professional, kemampuan dan kepercayaan diri guna meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak. Keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak mutlak harus dilakukan oleh karena itu, komunikasi efektif dukungan pengajar terhadap orang tua melalui keterlibatan secara langsung, demonstrasi atau peragaan dan komunikasi sehingga hubungan antara orang tua dan pengajar dapat memberikan dampak yang baik bagi anak-anak. Pada akhirnya kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan kesulitan dengan keterlibatan orang tua, namun dapat terselesaikan melalui kemampuan dan kepercayaan diri serta bermuara pada dampak yang produktif.

Kemudian di Kanada, temporary employee adalah pegawai yang bekerja pada pekerjaan temporer yang telah ditentukan masa berakhirnya berdasarkan kontrak ataupun waktu penyelesaian suatu proyek. Dari beberapa pemaknaan di Negara-negara tersebut tentang temporary employee, dapat diketahui bahwa temporary employee hanya memiliki masa kerja atau kontrak yang singkat yaitu tidak lebih dari satu tahun, dan dapat direkrut kembali sesuai dengan kebutuhan.
