PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DAN MATERI PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP SITUATIONAL INTEREST.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran (inquiry dan direct instruction) dan materi pembelajaran terhadap situational interest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Batujaya yang diambil secara random cluster sampling yang berjumlah 4 kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah experimental designs factorial 2 x 2. Penelitian dilakukan selama 16 pertemuan (4 pertemuan setiap kelas). Situational interest siswa diukur menggunakan situational interest scale dari Chen et al (2001) yang telah diuji dan memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas. Data perolehan situational interest diolah menggunakan SPSS 18 for Windows menggunakan teknik ANOVA interaksi dua faktor. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa nilai 1). model pembelajaran tidak memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap situational interest. 2). Materi pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap situational interest siswa. 3). tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan materi pembelajaran terhadap situational interest siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa materi pembelajaran lebih mampu menimbulkan minat belajar siswa daripada model pembelajaran, namun demikian materi permainan yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model inquiry merupakan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang paling diminati siswa. Perlu ada penelitian lebih lanjut tentang model campuran antara materi pembelajaran dan model pembelajaran.

The aim of this study was to perceive the effect of instructional model and situational interests on basketball games learning outcomes. Quasi-experimental research method was used with a counterbalanced design. This study population was all 7 th grade students in SMPN 1 Cisarua Bandung with 76 students as a sample. Situational interests of students was measured by situational interest scale from Ang Chen et.al., (2001), while the results of basketball games learning outcomes measured by Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI). All data was processed using SPSS 18 for windows using Analysis of Covariant (ANCOVA). Data processing results showed that: 1) Instructional models (TGFU and Conventional) gave a positive and significant effect on basketball games learning outcomes. 2) Situational interests doesn ’t have a signigicant effect on the improvement of basketball games learning outcomes. 3) Instructional models (TGFU and Conventional) and situational interests are simultaneously didn’t affect on basketball games learning outcomes. Based on the results of the data processing concluded that the instructional models is a variable that can affect basketball games learning outcomes.

Dalam penelitian ini, model pembelajaran Tactical games for understanding (TGfU) dilihat lebih mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa jika dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Konvensional. Situational interest dalam penelitian ini dilihat tidak memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, akan tetapi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan jasmani merupakan mata pelajaran yang fleksibel. Hal ini akan memberikan peluang yang besar untuk melakukan inovasi yang lainnya dalam pengajaran pendidikan jasmani.

The purpose of the research is to find out the influence of teaching model (inquiry and direct instruction) and teaching material to the students’s situational interest. The sampel of the research are the students of class X in SMAN 1 BATUJAYA. The sampel of the research taken by using random cluster sampling for 4 classes. The writer used experimental design factorial 2x2. The research held for 16 meetings (4 meetings in each class). Student’s situational interest is measured by using situational interest scale by Chen et al (2001) that has been tasted and has its validity and realiability. Situational interest data collection processed by using SPSS 18 for Windows with using two interaction factors ANOVA technique. The finding showed that :1). Teaching model doesn’t give significant positive influence to the situational interest. 2). Teach ing material give significant positive influence to the students’s situational interest.3). there is no interaction between teaching model and teaching material to the student’s situasional interest. Based on the findings this research showed that teaching material could improve student’s study interest than teaching model. However, games material that is taught by using inquiry model is the most interesting physical education teaching for students. The further research about mixing model between teaching material and teaching model is needed.

Post-test dilakukan setiap kali selesai diberikan treatment atau perlakuan, hal ini didasari oleh pendapat Lee dan Solmon (1992) dalam Chen et al . (2001) yang merekomendasikan bahwa “ waktu antara suatu kegiatan (aktifitas) dan laporan siswa mengenai kegiatan tersebut harus sesingkat mungkin, sedekat mungkin. Dalam penelitian ini, pengukuran (pengisian Situational Interest Scale ) dilakukan segera setelah siswa berinteraksi dengan setiap tugas belajar ”. Dan diperkuat oleh penelitian Ilmawati (2014) bahwa “ situational interest dapat dipengaruhi hanya dalam satu pertemuan saja, maka dari itu minat siswa dalam pembelajaran tersebut dikatakan minat situasional ” . Kemudian kemampuan bermain dapat diketahui melalui permainan yang berlangsung selama 5 menit melalui videotape pada permainan dan dinilai dengan instrument GPAI. Selanjutnya data dianalisis untuk menguji hipotesis.

29 effect situational factors psychological factors student choice mechanical engineering expertise

This study aims to describe situational and psychological factors, the choice of the mechanical engineering expertise program, and find out determinations of situational and psychological factors on the choice of the mechanical engineering expertise program in Vocational High Schools (VHSs) in the Yogyakarta Special Territory. This was a correlational study which was ex post facto in nature. It was conducted in state and private VHSs belonging to the technology and engineering group in the mechanical engineering expertise program in the Yogyakarta Special Territory. The data were collected through inventories, observation sheets, and documents. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the scores of situational factors are in the high category, those of psychological factors are in the high category, and that of the choice of the mechanical engineering expertise program in VHSs is in the high category. The research hypothesis testing shows that: (a) there are significant effects of situational factors (family, previous school, and social environments), and psychological factors (students’ information mastery, self -understanding, and attitudes) on the choice of the mechanical engineering expertise in VHSs with a contribution of 53.8%; and (b) based on the results of path analysis showed that the choice of the mechanical engineering expertise program in VHSs by junior high school (JHS) graduates is dominantly affected by a situational factor in the form of social environment and the most influential psychological factors are students’ self -understanding and attitudes.
