The results of this research, that increased the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts among students who get the personalized system of instruction methods learning is better than students who get conventional learning models. The attitudes of students about personalized system of instruction methods learning a positive indicated attitude and good interpretation.

The aim of the experiment is for knowing the influence of PSI teaching model and inquiry to the social skill and the basic skill in basket ball at the eight grade student. the research method that is used for gasp this problem throw experiment method with rendomizepretes-posttest group design. The example of research is a half of student from class A and C have taken by two stage randome sampling from all student of eight class at SMPN 2 Lemahabang Cirebon regency. The voting is doing by two times, the first is with the cluster random sampling to make a group class from six class which vote and the second voting with an individual choose select class are A and C. The research is doing in 3 times meet every week for 4 weeks, 12 times meet. The instrument in social skill is SSRS (social skill rating system) and basic play test skill like (dribbling, pasingg, and shooting) for the skill basket ball which is tested in validity and reliability. The process of data used SPSS 16 throwing hypothesis experiment with MANOVA model. The result of experiment is 1) there is a different social skill between Personalyzed System Instruction teaching model and inquiry teaching model. 2) there is different basic skill in basket ball between Personalyzed System Instruction teaching model with inquiry teaching model. 3) there is different social skill and basic skill in basket ball between Personalyzed System Instruction teaching model with inquiry teaching model. According to the result, can be said that PSI teaching model and inquiry give an influence throw social skill and basic skill in basket ball, but if we see from the analysis data result of PSI teaching model, the basic skill in basket ball is better than inquiry teaching model, but for the social skill, the inquiry teaching model is better than PSI teaching model. However, if we see from the result test inquiry teaching model more give influence to social skill and basic skill in basket ball.
