A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of requirements for doctor of philosophy (doctorate in the philosophy program in music). From the perspective of music history, we can analyze the previous data from Erhu and summarize musical features and morphology in each historical period. Erhu's pedagogy and the application of innovative teaching mode in colleges and universities is imperative to consider. I have been engaged in the education of Erhu performance for many years and have done some experiments and explorations.

In the teaching of Erhu in colleges and universities, instructors cannot apply a uniform curriculum, teaching content, or schedule due to the difference between students' actual performance abilities. By analyzing the essential elements of movement in Erhu in a three-dimensional way, the students could gain a clear understanding of the coordination between different parts of the bow, which will make the process easier for the students. The process requires extensive collection and analysis of videos of the Erhu class, but it is a lot of flexibility and freedom.

At the same time, a new instrument, the Gaohu, was reformed based on the early Erhu. The handle serves as the pillar of the Erhu and supports the entire body of the instrument. The bridge helps the membrane generate sound by transmitting string vibrations to the skin.

The research objects were divided into an experimental group and a control group according to the students' final comprehensive scores, and the average scores of the two groups were not significantly different. The experimental group was treated with the polymorphic teaching method including data, while the control group was treated with the teaching method dominated by conventional teaching methods. During the experiment, the two groups should be consistent in the number of teachers, teaching hours, teaching content and other aspects, in order to ensure the authenticity and effectiveness of the experimental data.

Test the results of the teaching experiment and perform post-tests on the students in the experimental group and the control group. Student proficiency was measured using the performance results of the final exam, and a questionnaire survey on the advantages and disadvantages of integrating data-oriented multimodal teaching was issued to evaluate the teaching effect in detail. Summarize the experience of theoretical improvement, and transform a series of practical activities such as classroom design, teaching concept and teaching method integrated with data-oriented polymorphic teaching into theoretical achievements for the advancement of instrumental music education in colleges and universities.

It is suitable for the application of teaching method innovation in this research, as teachers can implement new teaching methods and get feedback from students. The students of her music school always have some difficulties in playing the Erhu, which allows me to identify Erhu performance problems among them and find solutions. We often communicate with each other and are dedicated to exploring music teaching methods.

Interview scholars at music schools in Guizhou province using official letters of introduction received from college principals. Provide teaching feedback by raising several performance questions and judge the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of class content through mastery of different left and right hand skills. Draw a conclusion about the difficulties the students encountered in their Erhu classes; then make a list of their specific schedules for analysis to overcome their disadvantages.

Relevant statistics have been made and problems, difficulties and Erhu teaching methods have been summarized.

This article discusses the teaching methods of Erhu in colleges and universities, and analyzes how to cultivate talents in accordance with the educational environment of the new era, so as to improve the effectiveness of Erhu education and promote the inheritance and development of Chinese national musical instruments . Videos should be uploaded to the database and turned into high-quality teaching materials, to help students improve their understanding of Erhu's performance by watching excellent players show their skills and emotions. Secondly, the heirs of Erhu cultures should serve as the main component of the lectures and gain a general understanding of the teaching materials to maintain the purity of music education.

In the end, this is because although the teaching of Erhu performance is becoming more and more professional, the theories are basically based on teachers' personal experience. Erhu teaching theories should be analyzed according to the specific learning situation and these theories should be put into practice.

Conclusion

Most students majoring in acting have a good foundation of performance skills and have mastered relevant techniques. Only on the basis of full understanding and interpretation of the original works can the unique emotional characteristics of the works be presented. Students should build a solid foundation for the performance and gradually speed up until they reach the original speed.

Also, students should improve their cultural performance and strengthen their understanding and sense of the connotation of musical works. They put aside some of the energy to control the intonation, rhythm and emotion of each paragraph so that they can let their skills play normally. To reach a higher level of Erhu performance, players must try to understand their own breathing and the connotation of the music in each link of the performances.

Performance style refers to the representative appearance presented by the artist in the process, and is the natural revelation and concrete performance of the performer in the performance.
