1. Objective1) To collect UTM Point to identify zoning at Chhorng Horn CFi site 2. Involved Person
2) There are 5 people from FiA, FiAC in Kampot, Wildlife Earth Allie, and Chhorng Horn CFi attending UTM Point collection to identify zoning in the MFMA in Kampot (See annex 1 and 2)
3. Activities
3) Teawork led by Ms. Ly Sokta and Miss. Leng Phalla went down to collect UTM Point from Prek Kdach village to Chhorng Horn CFi, which is divided into three zones- conservation zone, fisheries refugia zone, and Dolphine conservation zone based on the result of consultation meeting on zoning on 12 March at Prek Thnaot commune, Tek Chhou district, Kampot province.
4. Results
4) Result of UTM Point collection is detailed as follow:
a) Protected Zone of 1000ha from Thmor Kapal Bek at Prek Kdach village to Nataya Resort is with UTM Point:
- 054 X=394159, Y=1166196;
- 055X=395454 Y=1165793;
- 056 X=395556, Y=1165270; and - 057 X=397589, Y=1165270
b) Conservation Zone of 30ha in Chhorng Horn CFi is with UTM Point : - 058 X=390929, Y=1167203
- 059 X=390811, Y=1167598
c) Fisheries Refugia Zone of 500ha from Thmor Kapal Bek to Try Pheap Company is with UTM Point:
- 060 X=390275, Y=1167490
d) Dolphin Conservation Zone of 40ha from Krolok Kontan Karng Tboung in Chhorng Horn CFi is with UTM Point:
- 061 X=388899, Y=1167928 - 062 X=388988, Y=1168839
