The article studies factors influencing work motivation of public servants in Nga Nam town, Soc Trang province through direct interviews with 148 people. The output indicates that factor of Education does not create any influence while there are eight determinants of the

motivation of the public servants, including Job characteristics. Working conditions. Working environment. Wages and benefits. Career development, Leadership, Working experience.

Gender. Afterwards, the author proposes some suggestions based on these factors.
