MUTATION ANALYSIS OF ATP7B GENE IN WILSON DISEASE FAMILY
Wilson disease an autosomal recessive disorder of copper metabolism caused by mutations in the ATP7B gene that encodes a P-type copper transporting ATPase, The aim of this study was to screen and detect mutations of the ATP7B gene in a Wilson disease famlily (n = 6), Ivlutattons were screened and detected by DNA sequencing in 21 exon of ATP7B gene The results showed tiiat 6/6 patients had 2 different heterozygous mutations including ins47_48CGGCG in exon 1 and P.V456L in exon 3 of ATP7B gene
