ABSTRACT: All projects. Including construction investment projects, always contain risks. Negative risks when occuring in a project may bring damages to the project that harm the project's targets. Project stakeholders always wish to take advantages from positive risks.
Therefore, identifying risks, defining risk management approach and risk response strategies are very significantly important for enhancing opportunities and minimizing threats to the projects' objectives. This paper clarifies risk and related concepts, presenting the core risk attitudes, six risk management processes and analyzing 8 risk response strategies for both risk groups of opportunities and threats.
