Complex of terbium (III) with l,tO-phenanthroline and nitrale has been synthesized and determinated composition by heating-analysis and element analysis. Structure of complex also has been characterized by a variety of modern physical methods such as IR, RAMAN, PL etc. The study showed the molar ratio of central ion and ligand thai efficiency was maximum and most illuminating
