Summary
The study evaluates the reciprocal relationship among economic growth (GRDP), foreign direct investment (FDI) and provincial competitiveness index (PCI) in Hung Yen province.
Through the data collected from 1995 to 2016, using the VAR model analysis method, the result shows that GRDP and CPI do not influence FDI attraction. FDI creates a positive impact on PCI and GRDP. In addition, GRDP has no effect on PCL From this result, the authors provide some recommendations to boost Hung Yen province's economic development.
