Hebrew Kindergarten Chanukah Celebration.
On 'unday morning a large number of parent and friends collected in the 1inor Zionist Ha11 to watch the Chanukah cele- bration of the Hebrew Kindergarten.
...\Ir ·. H. Friedland r \Yelcomed all those present and remarked that, while all around u · were the ·igns of ./ma , it was our duty to remind our children that we have our own interesting national festival. She also voiced the regret of the Committee at losing the services of Miss Reading . who had given of her best to Kindergarten for almost six 3 ear·. The good wishes of the Committee went to Miss Reading for happiness and good luck in her married life.
The children then . ang their Chanukab songs in a most delightful manner and .·hawed that they understoocl the meaning of the ligh tecl candles. ·
~Iiss l{eacling and :\Iiss Boroda and their pupils were heartily applauclecl and packets of sw ets \\'ere distributed to all the child- ren present.

A Chanukab Concert was held in the Tal- mud Torah Hall, Grove Avenue, Clare- mont, on Sunday. Mr. H. Beck, Chairman of the Claremont Hebrew Congregation, presided.
