DIRECTIONS DATED 13 SEPTEMBER 2011

The Court has issued the following directions:

1. The applications for leave to appeal and condonation are set down for hearing on Thursday 24 November 2011 at 10:00.

2. The record, properly paginated and indexed, must be prepared by the applicant and lodged on or before Monday 26 September 2011, and must include only those portions of the record in the Competition Appeal Court as are strictly necessary for the determination of the issues in this Court.

3. In addition, the applicant is required, not later than three days before this hearing, to—

a) lodge one copy of a supplementary volume to the record, consisting of

all documents filed in this Court (excluding the parties’ written argument) that do not form part of the record already lodged;

b) number these documents consecutively beginning with the page immediately after the last page of the record already lodged; and c) provide an updated index which includes the supplementary

volume(s).

4. Written argument, which must include argument on the merits of the appeal in the event of leave to appeal being granted, must be lodged by—

a) the applicant on or before Tuesday 11 October 2011; and b) the respondents on or before Tuesday 25 October 2011.

5. Further directions may be issued in due course.
