Wilayah ini dulunya adalah ladang jagung. Suatu hari diketahui bahwa dari ujung karang kebun ini, orang dapat melihat Raja Lima yang indah dengan sangat dekat. Untuk melengkapi tempat ini sebagai tempat tujuan wisata, pemiliknya membangun beberapa rumah pohon yang sampai saat ini banyak dikunjungi wisatawan mancanegara. Tidak ada lagi kebun jagung disana, bergan� dengan rumah pohon.

This area used to be a cornfield and one day it was found out that from the edge of the cliff the Raja Lima could be beau�fully viewed. To complete the loca�on as the tourist des�na�on, the owner built some tree houses which is up to now have been visited by many foreign and local tourists.
There is no more cornfield anymore, replaced by tree houses.
Loca�on
This site is located in the sub-village of Pelilit, the village of Pejukutan, about 30 km to the north-east from port Sampalan and can be reached in 1,5 hours by motorbike. Raja Lima can be viewed from Molenteng or from the tree house at Molenteng. If the visitors want to see Raja Lima from the top of the hill in Molenteng, they do not need to walk a long way but to see it more closely, they have to climb down the steep stairs to the base of the cliff and view Raja Lima from the top of the cliff. At the top of those five rocky islands there were clusters of green vegeta�on as if forming islands if viewed from Molenteng. That is why the area of Raja Lima is also called Pulau Seribu (Thousand island)
Prac�cal Benefits
Raja Lima brings no direct benefit to Raja Lima itself but economically brings benefit to Atuh beach and the owner of Molenteng through the fee of the entrance �ckets.

Dusun Pelilit, Desa Pejukutan, Kecamatan Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali. Berjarak 30 ke arah �mur laut dari Pelabuhan Sampalan dapat ditempuh dalam waktu 1,5 jam dengan motor. Pemandangan Raja Lima ini dapat dinikma� dari Molenteng atau dari rumah pohon di Molenteng. Apabila ingin menikma� Raja Lima dari atas tebing di Molenteng, pengunjung �dak perlu berjalan jauh akan tetapi untuk dapat menikma�nya dengan lebih dekat, pengunjung harus menuruni anak tangga yang cukup terjal kearah dasar tebing dan melihat batu-batu tersebut dari ujung karang. Di atas ke lima karang tersebut tampak kelompok-kelompok tanaman tumbuh sehingga membentuk pulau-pulau apabila dilihat dari Molenteng. Oleh sebab itulah wilayah Raja Lima juga disebut Pulau Seribu.

Keberadaan Raja Lima ini �dak langsung membawa keuntungan kepada Raja Lima sendiri, melainkan secara ekonomi, melalui �cket masuk, memberi keuntungan kepada Pantai Atuh dan pemilik Molenteng.

Rumah Pohon Molenteng terletak di dusun Pelilit, desa Pejukutan, 30 km kearah tenggara dari pelabuhan Sampalan dan dapat ditempuh dalam waktu 1jam 30 menit. Tempat wisata ini berdampingan dengan obyek wisata Pantai Atuh. Jalan menuju lokasi ini sangat panjang dan dapat dikatakan kurang memadai untuk daerah tujuan wisata. Di beberapa tempat jalan sudah diperbaiki akan tetapi di beberapa bagian lain kerusakan jalan sangat parah yang seringkali menyebabkan kecelakaan. Molenteng dimiliki oleh perorangan yang mengelola penginapan berupa rumah pohon. Untuk mencapai rumah pohon, pengunjung harus menuruni tebing melalui tangga tanah yang diberi pengaman tali yang diikatkan pada kayu yang sengaja ditancapkan atau batang pohon di tepi tebing. Pemandangan di area rumah pohon langsung mengarah ke pantai Atuh dan para penggemar foto dapat langsung membuat foto berlatar belakang Batu Jineng dan Batu Pawon yang dekat sekali dengan ujung karang di area rumah pohon.
Lelahnya menuruni anak tangga terbayar dengan keindahan pemandangan di sana.
Pengunjung Molenteng dapat menikma� dua keindahan yaitu pemandangan laut dan matahari terbit.

This place is located side by side with Atuh beach. The road to this place is too long, then it can be said it’s not adequate to serve as tourist des�na�on. In some parts the road have been fixed but in the other parts the road is so severely damaged that quite o�en it can cause accidents. Molenteng is individually possessed.
He manages these houses. To reach these houses, the visitors have to go down the stairs which are actually layered soil, with a safety rope �ed up to a pole deliberately plugged in or to the trees along the cliff. The view in the tree house directly faces the Atuh beach and those who like making pictures can directly make pictures with Batu Jineng and Batu Pawon as the background, the ones which are very close from the age of the cliff in the area of the three house. The �redness of descending the stairs is paid off by the beau�ful view. The visitors of Molenteng can view two panoramas namely the panorama of the sea and the sunrise.
