Di tahun 2014, volume penjualan minyak sawit 332.535 ton menurun 17,37% terhadap tahun 2013 yaitu sebesar 402.449 ton, namun volume penjualan inti sawit naik 5,59 %, demikian pula volume penjualan karet turun 46,52 %
Berdasarkan data yang diolah GAPKI, produksi minyak sawit dan turunannya tahun 2014 diprediksi mencapai 26 juta ton atau turun 1,9% dibandingkan dengan produksi tahun lalu sebesar 26,5 juta ton. Penurunan produksi disebabkan antara lain faktor cuaca yang tidak menentu serta berbagai kendala yang dihadapi produsen.
Secara keseluruhan, kinerja operasional dan keuangan PTPN XIII tahun 2014 mengalami penurunan dibandingkan tahun 2013 maupun anggaran 2014. Di samping karena tidak tercapainya target produksi, penurunan ini terutama juga disebabkan tekanan harga jual minyak sawit dan karet yang sudah mengalami penurunan cukup signifikan di tahun sebelumnya.
Pada tahun 2014, segmen operasi kelapa sawit memberikan kontribusi sebesar 95,63 % terhadap nilai penjualan total, sedangkan segmen operasi karet berkontribusi 4,37 %.

By virtue of data processed by GAPKI, the palm oil and its derivatives production in 2014 was predicted to increase by 26 million tons or fell by 1.9% compared to the previous year wich was 26.5 million tons. The decline in production was caused by erratic weather and various constraints faced by the producers.
Overall, the operational and finance performance of PTPN XIII in 2014 suffered a decrease compared to 2012 or 2014 budget. In addition to the fact that the production target was not achieved, this decline was particularly caused by pressure on palm oil and rubber sales price that had experienced a quite significant decrease in previous year.
In 2014, the oil palm segment gave a contribution of 95.63 % to the total sales value, while the rubber segment gave a contribution of 4.37%.

Produksi & Produktifitas
Produksi TBS total tahun 2014 mencapai 1.635.892 ton, naik 7,36 % dibandingkan tahun 2013. Dari keseluruhan TBS yang dihasilkan, kebun inti berkontribusi 1,72 %, kebun plasma 0,54 % dan pihak ketiga 27,59%. Pada tahun 2014, TBS yang diolah sendiri mencapai 1.610.056 ton, sedangkan sisanya 25.836 ton dijual ke pihak swasta.
Tahun 2014 Produksi TBS Kebun Plasma berada di atas capaian tahun 2013 sebesar 0,54%, namun masih dibawah anggaran tahun 2014 sebesar 20,37%.
Produktivitas TBS Kebun Plasma tahun 2014 relatif sama dibanding dengan tahun 2013, yaitu 8,56 ton /ha/th.
Production & productivity
Total FFB production in 2014 reached 1,635,892 tons, increasing 7.36% compared to the year 2013. Of the overall FFB produced, the nucleus plantation contributed 1.72%, plasma plantation 0.54% and third parties 27.59%. In 2014, self-processed FFB reached 1,610,056 tons, while the remaining 25,836 tons was sold to private parties.
In 2014, FFB production of plasma plantation was above the achievement of 2013 by 0.54%, but still below 2014 budget by 20.37%.
FFB productivity of Small Holder in 2014 was relatively the same as 2013, i.e. 8.56 tons/ ha/yr.

Mutu Produksi
Mutu Asam Lemak Bebas (ALB), kadar kotoran dan kadar air Minyak Sawit dan Inti Sawit sudah baik dibanding tahun 2013 kecuali kadar air masih jauh diatas norma yang dipersyaratkan.
Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buah yang dikirim ke pabrik bermutu baik ditunjang dengan proses dan instalasi pengolahan yang sudah sesuai Standar Operasioanal Prosedur (SOP).
Product Quality
Free Fatty Acid (FFA) quality, dirt and moisture levels palm oil and kernel were better than in 2013, but the water content of the required norm still above.
It indicated that the fruit sent to the factory was of good quality and supported with the process and treatment plant according to SOP.
