It gives me great pleasure to submit an internship report on “General Banking Activities of Prime Bank Limited (PBL)” as per your instructions. As per the requirement of Sonargaon University, I have done 90 days or three months internship which helped me to improve my potential in practical field. As per the requirements of the internship program, I have to prepare a report on Prime Bank Limited with a specific topic.
It is now one of the banks in Bangladesh which follows international standard in banking and finance, the bank today serves its customers usefully and collects funds from the surplus units of the economy in the form of deposits and mobilization of deposits to the deficit units of the economy in the form of credit. The main objective of the report will be to provide an overview of "General Banking Activities of Prime Bank Limited" - a study on Ring Road Branch fulfilling the requirement of BBA programme. It refers to the essential part of the investigation and the process of gathering information and arranging it in relation to the relevant questions of the investigation.
Formal and oral discussion, direct observation, questioning of customers and printed papers from the bank were found useful. It is designed in such a way that it corresponds to achieving the objectives of the study. This report has originated as the academic requirement for the BBA program at Sonargaon University.
As practical orientation is an integral part of the BBA degree requirement, I worked with Prime Bank Limited to get real-life exposure to the activities of banking and financial institutions.

Write the dominance of the currency on the back of the payslip or credit slip and affix a stamp to the slip/slip. At a minimum, send the payslip/document to the payment department or to the respective department. A carbon copy of the pledge must be handed over to the customer with the correct seal and signature.

During the survey and informal interviews with the customers, I noticed that the introduction to Savings and current account is one of the big problems for them. On the other hand, the signature of The customers of other branches is mostly not scanned, so that if any customer of Other branch of PBL introduces the applicant, it is impossible to verify the signature. Prime Bank Limited, Ring-Road Branch must provide prompt service of deposit and withdrawal of cash for their valuable customers.
While interning in Ring-Road Prime Bank, I have noticed that there is a shortage of manpower, only eleven officers are employed in the Ring-Road branch. So there must be right number of employees at the right place and PBL must provide behavioral training to the employees to handle the customers more efficiently and smarter. Now a day evening banking is well known and warmly acceptable services from the customer's perspective.
It is difficult for them to remember to go to the bank a few times. So if the bank, especially the Ring Road branch, offers evening banking services, this is beneficial to the customer. It should provide ATM debit cards to its valued customers faster so that the satisfaction level of the customers accelerated.
So, if the branch considers the opinion of the customers, it will also be useful for the bank. They can place a customer opinion box where the customer can write down their opinion and drop it to the box. In this way, the banks can obtain important information from their client and customer capacity. Think they are valuable to the bank.
During my internship at Ring-Road Prime Bank, I noticed that there is a shortage of Locker at the Ring-Road Branch of PBL. No new customer can occupy a locker in this branch, which means that customers who live close to the branch have difficulty going to another branch. If this branch can expand its lockers it will be helpful to the customers.
